When I first saw that NSX in the movie I thought that was the new hybrid prototype NSX, I had no idea this was a 1991 with a different body kit and color. Pretty cool man!

It doesn't look like it worn out too much. The interior looked like it was made in the mid-1990s than the early 1990s though! With an audio system like this, it is hard to remove only the audio components of this car to put an aftermarket audio system. As for the tape player, I liked the fact that it has a "Clean" light letting you know that the tape player is dirty, and a cassette cleaning adapter is required, something auto manufacturers should have put in their audio systems in the 90s!
If you are meticulous enough with the maintenance 252,000 miles isn't out of the question for most cars...With that being said that amount of mileage on any early 90's super car (Yes it was a super car in its time) is very impressive and credit goes to all its previous owners.

Since theres a 280hp legal limit in in japan for japanese production cars, Honda decided that rather than try to fight a war they KNEW they couldn't win for top speed, they would focus on the handling ability of the car. the result was a production car that was faster in corners than anything else on the market at the time. while the ferraris and lamborghinis were technically FASTER, the NSX would leave them all behind in the corners. True Story.
It's not a gas saving hybrid. Its got the main engine mid mounted driving the rear wheels, then it has two electric motors, one for each wheel. Electric means instant power with no power band... just full power at all times. Do you realize how much of a monster this car will be at the track? Just because it has electric motors doesn't mean it's a Prius.
I somehow don't find the prototype as stunningly beautiful as the convertable. Not sure if it's the roof or slight shape changes. Guess functionality and beauty rarely go perfectly well together.

If the real one looked anywhere near as good as the one in the movie, I'd buy one. The movie one was stunning. I'd even buy it if it still had the old interior.

Sorry, but this NSX has so many lines going on that it just gets confusing. It is hard to remember what the car looks like after looking away haha. I liked the older style with the bolder, more recognizable lines.

Probably for some idiots would think that new NSX looks sucky, destroying their childhood, Honda can't help that either, but maybe to million or billion of car enthusiasm around the world, the new design is simply just amazing. So, if you really hate the new design, try changing to other brand probably, I could recommend you Hyundai. Their design is simply "stunning". Probably you would like it.
if you knew anything about the honda s2000 you would know that it comes with forged internals stock from the factory,would you like to now what that means? ........ it means that the parts in the cylinder block are made to last so if i boost a s2000 i will be a very long time before i hurt the motor..... btw you might want to go look up real street performances 713hp s2k that runs 9.5s @ 147mph in the 1/4 mile over 61,000 miles on the motor

th car is suppouse to weigh about 3100lbs the na2 weighed about 3000lbs wow 100lbs difference which is kind of big but the car is going to make over 400hp whoich is 100+hp and like is said in my comment 2 months ago the hybrid system in the nsx is going to have a KERS which is used in F1& we all know F1 cars are probably the fastest vehicles on the planet, btw the new nsx uses the same chassis as the old nsx if im not mistaken just looks different with a new engine more technology etc,
wow they killed it.....like they do with most of the great cars they try to re-make and make it way to futurey like. Perfect example is the new skyline gtr yes it at lest still looks good but they changed way to much from the previous year instead of just tweaking it slightly.
first off 700hp isnt even alot of hp anymore,theres 700hp honda s2000s on a single turbo with stock internals, second of all this car with out a doubt will have more hp and tq than the old nsx and will handle better because its awd now and if you didnt notice ALOT of car companys are going hybrid now, take a look at F1 there will be hybrids in f1 pretty soon, heck even look at the Jaguar cx16 which has 800hp and 1100lb/ft-tq..... btw the nsx is using the kers system that they use in f1
unfortunately all those tech weighs down the car. I give my hats off to Honda for making NSX again, but I just am hoping that this won't become another mr CR-Z... because if it does, my last remaining love for Honda may only be reserved for Civics or Accords when I have to buy a family car
More like 90,000 actually, if it's priced anything like the first NSX. Btw, production cars are never that expensive. The fastest production cars range from only 1-2 million dollars.
im sorry but the previous nsx's have NOTHING on how this car looks. Dont know much about performance specs as of yet. but its def an upgrade from honda super nintendo boxy 2dimensional look. they finally figured out that curved can make a car look sexy.
