The NSX deserves a video by itself, this one it shared it with many other cars and probably just two minutes were spent talking about it. I hope you can find a true passionate owner of the NSX and make a video entirely focused on it.

Isn't it just. You'd know it's silhouette anywhere.
I'm using it almost exclusively at times in 'Forza Horizon 3' the noise it makes in that title is addictive.
Shame we can't all have one in real life.

I submitted an application to be featured on Petrolicious a while back with my stock 91 NSX. Maybe they'll consider doing a more in depth video on my car. I'm not a collector. I bought my NSX to drive it, and drive it hard. As a commuter, grocery hauler, canyon carver, and track weapon.

+Zygrene that's awesome man. You're really lucky to own one of these.. I really hope they do make a video on you and your car. For guys like us who can't afford such cars, watching good quality videos of guys like you who can and really enjoy their cars is sometimes all the joy we need.

The Land of the Rising Sun's NSX deserves singular focus in a vid, especially on a site that focuses 99% on Euro brands, also, drive the damn car; I want to hear it and see it from the cockpit; the CRX got 100% more love in that vid, c'mon, show the NA1 the same courtesy.

At 3:55 Scott perfectly describes what it is like to be behind the wheel of the original NSX. I'd like to add that you feel like you are piloting a jet ... great forward vision, but you can tell where the nose is because of the wheel arches. If you aren't use to it, hearing the motor and the exhaust all coming from behind you is a wonderful sensation. The steering is stiff at low speeds, and it isn't the easiest car for getting groceries because of the unassisted steering, but get up to speed and the steering feels perfect and easy to control. I changed the exhaust from stock, which sounded great above 4K RPM right up to 8K, but was just too civil at low RPM to me. You always feel like it is a special event when driving the NSX.

Both the title and the thumbnail are NSX related and the content is not, that is what I call misleading.

    • @furripupau

How was the title and thumbnail not related? NSX thumbnail They talked plenty about this car. And the key word we are looking for in the title is "Evolving" They showcased other cars because they wanted to show how the tastes of these gentleman and how they ended up with the NSX. So tbh you just like to complain.

Unlike some folks I thoroughly enjoyed seeing every car we saw in the video. What delightfully eclectic collections!
Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing videos that focused a bit on individual cars in the collection, but one thing that some of you are overlooking is the fact that the videos Petrolicious does are as much about the owners and their stories as they are about the cars. This video was about the guys who assembled these delightfully diverse collections and that made it important to spend at a great deal of time on exhibiting the variety of vehicles they have acquired.

  • @furripupau
    @furripupau 8 лет назад +2

This was weirdly, maybe the least petrolicious video petrolicious has put out in a while. I like these videos because it's interesting to see how people FEEL about cars, and this video barely got into that.
(At least it wasn't another BMW or Porsche video, so thanks for that)

  • @LimaUniformCharlieA

It's really awesome that you can tell which cars they bought around the same time. The big american cruisers like the Mercury, the boxy kinda muscle cars like the Monte Carlo, the japanese cars like the NSX. Next and final step in evolution is gonna be the Euros, for sure ;)

  • @blackjacket_

Yes the title calling out the feelings that this will have something to do with NSX canyon blast. However, those beatiful Mercury shots are exceptional. The one where he is reversing from the driveway. Its like remastered footage of some original 50-60s video. Great job as always.

Having been featured on Petrolicious in 2013 I really admire the crew for featuring different and interesting people. This channel is foremost about cars and their passionate owners. Being gay myself in such a straight male dominated hobby is difficult at best. It is not a secret there have been other featured enthusiast from the LBGT community in here. However, I have to say a couple of the videos really, IMO ignored the elephant (gay) in the room. I believe one's sexual orientation should have nothing to do with the love of cars and there is not need to mention it. I can tell you though, if my husband/bf/partner was included in my feature in 2013 and our obvious relationship was not acknowledged, he would have been pissed! I'm not saying they should have kissed or held hands at some point but, trying to portray them in this light was painful for me to watch.

All respect to you sir and to the owner of the car in the film, but this is getting old. People talking BS about cars they love (but do not understand), wrapped in a glossy impressive film is not informative or educational. It is more like mastrubation and not true passion. I love his filming.. but please let someone who actually love cars stand as narrators. I want to learn something too, not only look at glossy images wrapped in plastic frames.

While as others state - not much on the NSX - the lighting of the video was fantastic - esp the Mercury. When the Merc was backing out of the driveway - it looked like a great old movie. These guys have some odd tastes - but that is what makes the hobby so personal. I need a warehouse myself with all I want - saw an old Saab 900 Turbo today that I wish I had a reason to buy. Would love to see a video on that white Acura Legend. Had a friend with one, had power closing Doors on it. Thought that was so cool.

Damned shame the NSX wasn't the focus of this video - the NSX was the only thing I tuned in for.

agh well ill tell you what this video could've been done properly with focusing on just one car not 2 at the same time the thumbnail really is just click bait for viewers to see no offense but domestic cars with the exception of muscle cars are garbage none the less

I thought the video was going to be only about the NSX. I like the the 1st and 2nd generation Legend Coupes that you have.

I prefer to have one or two cars that I'm dedicated to and turn into my own. Right now, I have my 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS (AE86). It's a car that I will never want to let go of and even though I may have to get a more practical car or even one day when/if I can get a supercar, my AE86 will still be most precious to me because it was my first car and, at the same time, it is my dream car. It's a car I want to pass onto my kids and then onto their kids, and when electric cars run the world, I'll make algae fuel happen and keep it running. That's how I want to keep my cars.
Collecting cars and selling them afterwards seems kinda shallow for me, like renting a car, you never get to fully bond with it since you know you'll have to sell it at some point; I'd rather drive a friend's car so at least I know I can play with it again, like seeing your friend's son or daughter, it's great fun and brings joy, but you know you're truly dedicated to your own child.
