🎙️ In 2019 Ashley Watson retired from the sport of Men's artistic gymnastics after nineteen years of competing at the highest level. Shortly afterwards he was recruited by the world famous Cirque Du Solei to be part of a brand new show. The company closed down production and cancelled the new show during the global pandemic and Ash returned home from Canada. He is now a successful content creator in his own right producing gymnastics based entertainment online and following in Nile Wilson's footsteps. Ash was one of the most exciting British gymnasts of his generation to compete over the last twenty years. And this is his story 📚

Love Ash! After watching him for so long in Nile's vlogs, it is great to see him creating his own platform. Great interview! Thanks!

I love Ashley and I know of Sam from watching Nile's old videos.
Sam you did a great job with this interview. Your questions were so thoughtful and you shared just the right amount of your story to build rapport without taking away from the guest who should be in the spotlight.

Sam… you totally need to do some adult gymnastics content! There is such a lack of this sort of content for us adult gymnastics that do it just for the love and sport. We’re never gonna be Olympians but help us be the best we can!!!!

Hey there, I'm thinking about potentially starting a little masters team of ex gymnasts so look out for some adult gymnastics based content. Thanks for watching.

That was a great interview Sam! Ive followed Ash and the gang for ages. Ive grown alongside them in a odd way. This was such a sincere conversation and getting down to human level was great. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Is it an inherent property of high-level gymnasts that they're kind, thoughtful people? One would think so watching you and Ash!
A well executed and fascinating interview!

Always love the educational terms popping in...oh, wait...Sam is not used to me. First time! Transfer of learning is huge and largely unknown but gymnasts seem to know more than most!!! So many pairs of transfer of learing! High road/low road, general, specific, etc.
