I have a Niche Zero and I am happy with it. But, at this price I might have to try out this flat burr grinder. You can't have too many grinders...right?
I had that issue with the Niche Zero and other metal cups where you can't see through them, I'd always end up getting the coffee piled up on one side! Sometimes it would tip over and spill when I removed the cup! The downside of plastic is it might be more static prone. I like the light wood lid, the only down side is if you have walnut lids on your other grinders like if you have a DF83 and care about them matching :D 19 seconds for 18g at espresso size isn't that bad. I thought it seemed slow watching it, but that's just because I'm used to the super fast DF83 lately. Still much faster than the Kafatek Monolith with Shuriken LM burrs I had!
Eagerly awaiting my DF83V, but this looks like the type of machine that would fit perfectly at my parents’ house. (They’re using an old grinder of mine along with and old espresso machine of mine. The machine is fine, the grinder…not so much.)
This is gonna be a game changer in this price range and space. Gonna have to show this to a couple friends.

That explains why nobody wants Niche anymore, they were nice a few years ago.
