I really like the character but I wish a bit more effort went into the movies themselves. The first one was very enjoyable but the second I can't watch. Looking forward to seeing what else they come up with

Hello, WOW what a great set. I loved this movie, I thought it was a 5 out of a 5 for me. On a side note, I would like to include this is a Sony production so your getting a fantastic picture. Talk about attention to detail W/ the art work! Awesome...Thanks for the review.
Yeah you're absolutely correct Joel Sony can't put a foot wrong when it comes to picture quality and this is another example of it. As for the edition itself it's probably one of the best I've ever seen in terms of one click editions. I'm very fortunate to have it. Thank you as always Joel for stopping by my friend

This is a movie I haven't seen yet Keith, but I have to say the artwork really does look amazing. The spot glossing stands out a mile. A great looking box set. Maybe they will give the sequel the same treatment.
I don't think filmarena has ever done that where they brought out a sequel in a similar Style. Now that you said it I would love to see it happen. No I haven't seen the Matrix releases from manta lab. I should really branch out a bit and start looking into some releases from them

I am well used to it Mark when it comes to Editions like this. I wouldn't mind picking up the 2001 A Space Odyssey release they brought out

I am indeed. I have a 75 inch Samsung 3D TV still in the house. Looking forward to seeing the latest Avatar as a matter of fact in 3D
I have this as well. Picked it up back when it was released. Yea, back then all the steelbooks they did were exclusives. Except the Black Baron line. But they don't do any originals anymore. Barely any company does. Sucks.
BTW - You should try to get a number from Film Arena. They never replied to ANY of my Emails, but if you can get them to put you on a list for when if a number opens up, you can get it. They let people have multiple numbers. Any amount, so someone could have 10 and you know they are flipping all of them. I hate they allow that. So ask if any numbers are available if not can you get on a waiting list. What it means is you are guaranteed to get every release. Bad thing is you have to get every release. Lol. But the ones you don't want, sell after you get. At least the ones you do you will get at the retail price. Not aftermarket. All the releases you get will have the same number. Something to think about.
I think I own around ten one click Editions from filmarena and this might be the first time that I ever got an exclusive Steelbook. I'm sure there's a reason to why they have stopped doing exclusive Steelbooks and I'm sure it comes down to expense. It doesn't bother me too much to be honest because I always said it steelbooks never define releases like this for me. I'm buying it for everything else if I'm completely honest. Oh by the way thank you so much for all the information on that second message. I will definitely look into it
I came for the artwork and wasn't disappointed. I think a big issue with this film for alot of people was that it was 12 rated and Sony do that so often. I think it was definitely a mistake with this film although I thought it wasn't bad. And maybe some of the best postcard art I seen aswell. You must have had a great time with all those lenticulars Keith.
Hey Steve. I was actually meant to send you pictures of this release around a month but I forgot to do so. I have over 10 one click Editions from Filmarena and this is easily their best. In terms of art work I have never seen anything like it. Yes I spent the best part of an hour playing with the lenticulars on this one when I first seen it 😆 🤣. To be honest I get all of them on eBay. But I do be incredibly patient and wait for price drops because I never want to overspend on them. They can be very expensive

It definitely comes with the edition itself it's not a special that you get with the one click. The only thing that's special with the one click is the booklet and the art cards that I show at the end.
I love what you get but Filmarena I just don't trust them. especially from you have said in the past. that artwork and lenticular are amazing.
Hey Allan. I think you might be getting filmarena confused with CineMuseum. There are the company that I will not go near. Thankfully as of yet I have no issues with filmarena even though I'm not a fan of the fact that they take your money straight away when you pre-order something

It is coming my friend. I actually have around eight videos ready to go and Tenet is one of them.
What a gorgeous set. Most of the steelbooks and editions are all really beautiful that Sony released. Unfortunately they put more efford in the artwork than in the movies. I think the most important thing you forget why people also didn't like this movie that much is because a bit earlier in the same year the movie Upgrade came out. It did the same thing ( entity takes over the body of the protagonist) but much better with kick ass action. These movies scream rated R abd Upgrade gave that hard action. So in comparison with that movie Venom was a big let down. You can see all sorts of discussions on the internet between these 2 movies.
But nonetheless this boxset is a must have collectible 😍
There's no question about it that upgrade has a similar structure to it. Actually to be honest it's the better movie. But I'm not going to lie Robert I don't buy into movies being better because there R rated. I don't think you should have to rely on violence to make a movie better. I thought that Tom Hardy was fantastic in the movie and the banter between him and Venom I found it to be incredibly funny. I was always a fan of the movie from the get-go and maybe its because I wasn't aware of any of the comic books. The sequel was an absolute disaster. I pride myself on giving movies a second go but for that one it would be very hard. As for the edition itself it's phenomenal and easily my favourite one click edition from filmarena. @@millerman9991 normally I would totally agree with you on the violence part. But in the two Venom movies the constantly turn away the camera's when Venom does something. That's quite annoying if that happens a lot of times.
But I still indeed enjoy the bitching back and front between the two. And agree on the sequel. It had so much potential and they did nothing with it
Like I said in the video I'm looking forward to finally seeing a movie with Spider-Man and Venom together. It's probably what venom needs at the moment

It's a strange release because you actually get four steelbooks with it. But it's part of the set
