Midwives encouraging more women to have home births | ITV News

Only 2% of women in the UK opt for a home birth despite research that home births are safe for low-risk pregnancies. A team of midwives in Leicestershire have launched a new service to increase the number of home births. Since it was launched six-months ago, they have helped deliver 130 babies at home.
