Clearly, I trust a geriatric, stroke-induced turtle more than a journalist who actually practices true journalism.
Well its sad that someone like Tucker is considered a true journalist. He still gives his opinion and he does drive a narrative. But unlike most he actually gets supporting evidence to support his opinion and seeks out others and permits them to speak. The propagandists in the major media don't even let others speak when its against their narrative they are trying to peddle. They immediately talk over them and then proceed to discredit and insult. John Stossel is more of a journalist that digs in and gets opposing points of view and present them to the viewer. When I was a kid in the 70's you used to listen to news radio and it was the most dry, monotone presentation of the facts without any commentator opinion. The only opinion you might hear would be a list of questions that they couldn't find answers typically at the end of the report. It was the most boring thing to listen to as a kid and I miss that kind of reporting now. In the 70's the college journalism courses changed from teaching investigative tactics and went to how to tell a narrative and teaching how to influence your readers. Walter Cronkite had a famous sign off which was "And that's the way it is"... he wouldn't end his show with that phase if gave an opinion piece in it because he felt that was wrong. Don't make them like that anymore.
