It's sad feminism is taking over the Philippines
No worries, just find feminine women in the province. The "boss babe"-BS seems to be mainly a problem in the big cities. Luckily, like in the West, these future cat ladies will end up alone and their ideology will die out naturally.

@@Joesant88 Hardly apparent as you didn't understand much. Systemic racism doesn't exist in the West (nor has it for quite a long time), Jim Crow etc was discarded a long ago in the US (despite Joe Biden's best efforts, as you probably know but try to hide) and conservative politics are obviously vastly superior to socialism (which is pure evil, and has been proven over and over again). Conservative essentially means that you take what works and stick with it, you don't try to change everything for some sick ideas that has never, nor will ever, work. Capitalism (true, not corrupted) is good for everyone, socialism is bad for everyone except the few at the top.
I doubt the Philippines would become a better nation by destroying the country and with it the wonderful people, by replacing them with worse people, a horrible totalitarian ideology and whatever else people like you stand for. Haven't you people done enough damage through history, ever since that horrible ideology was invented?

I tend to agree with the commenters who said that a foreigner has no business getting involved with politics in The Philippines. I’ll add that I’m fairly certain that it’s against the law for a foreigner to do so in The Philippines.
And I’d like to know what that one young lady meant by possessive. And what she expects will happen when she marries her future husband. I know that I’d most certainly be a tad bit possessive. Just read the Bible. I intend to do my best to fulfill the biblical role of a husband. And that requires a bit of possessiveness. And the same can be said for a wife.
I do agree with honesty and respect.
To the young lady who doesn’t want her man to desire sex … part of a biblical marriage is sexual. I’m understanding you to say that you don’t want your future husband to want to have sexual relations with you. I hope I misunderstood you. But if I didn’t … you’ll be hard pressed to find a man who’s husband material who’s willing to just not have sexual relations with his wife. And maybe I can help you understand why at least I’d talk about sex sometimes. There’s a saying he who fails to plan, plans to fail. It pays to talk about this subject (though I agree not constantly) a bit so you both learn what the other wants in that department. I’m a virgin. But it doesn’t mean I haven’t at least done my best to learn what I can before I get married and give that card to my future wife. Just something to think about.

The lady that talked about God but said she was a feminist doesn't know the order God created. The order is God, man, woman, then children. God didn't create woman then man. He created man in his image then took one of Adam's ribs to create woman as a help mate and partner because Adam was alone in the garden. Men and women were created for each other. There is no independent when you are married in a relationship. I have no problem with a woman working but it should be for her man and the family not just for herself. My thoughts on a stable relationship is first being the same religion. For me Christian. They must both respect eachother. They must be faithful to eachother . They must have things in common. They must be able to have conversations with each other. They must be best friends.

She expects her spouse to be vaguely aware. She probably won't be attracted to anyone from the US so don't worry about it.
Filipina women are the best creation of god, they are family oriented, true feminist (not western or INDIAN TOXIC FEMINIST) caring and loving women. They work hard and save money for their family instead of purchasing make-up kit, doing party etc. If a FILIPINA is worst looking in her country still she is respected for us because of their PURITY, TRUE LOVE, FAMILY DEDICATION. My imaginary main concern about them not wanting to have any level of dependency is that one of my goals in life is to have a family. I say imaginary because it's very rare that women will talk to me at all. When I had a girlfriend, lots of women seemed to be interested in me. But it was stupendously hard to get that girlfriend. I had spent the prior 15 years single. When I found out she had cheated lots and lots of times with lots of men and kicked her to the curb, I thought it would be a long time again before I met another one. It's been 8 years so far. It seems like most women are taken, but they will say that even if they're not interested in you. I got tired of trying to find something clever to say just to speak with them just to have them come up with an excuse not to speak to me. And women will never, ever approach you. Sometimes when I say that there's like 1 guy out of billions who got approached and he thinks it happens to everyone.

Hi Annie. A very good interview with many different answers. I was surprised at the ones that said they can provide for themselves. That is a good thing. Respect, honesty, trust are very important. Also having time to yourself. It is important to trust and treat each other good. Too many guys and girls take advantage and that is not a good relationship. I always treat a partner with respect and treat my partner good. A relationship should be 50/50. Share everything in life together and trust each other enough that you can have alone time from each other. Keep smiling and stay safe

I’m so happy to hear that young ladies there have faith in the Lord, and want a man to have shared beliefs.
It is my experience that the younger educated Filipinas work and provide for the family. My lovely bride’s nieces many are educated and are registered CPAs. They make a great living. They are good wives and mothers. Some nieces didn’t go to school and have a more difficult time in life as they married men with no education or skills. They live on the family compound with their parents.
When I met my beautiful bride she was a nurse working in a labor and delivery clinic. She told me when we met “ I don’t need a man and I don’t need you, but you are nice”. I thought wow a very independent woman who doesn’t need saving, fantastic. She was and is a devout Christian, as am I. I also realized she had no filter she says what she thinks, in a respectful way, not like western man haters!!
Family is so important to Filipinas! Kindness and respect for your Filipina and her family is so important.
A shared belief in Christ is the best glue to keep you together, if we follow Christ we won’t go wrong!!
I am the only “Red Neck” in the whole extended family. The family is very welcoming and loving. They are my family now.

Hi Ladies, I'm a 66 year old guy who has been retired earlier then I wanted because of disability🥺I was a musician for years & worked very hard all my life and especially when I was married and had 3 children, I'm now divorced because my ex cheated multiple times and told the judge at the court " I can't handle the kids", so I raised 2 sons, 13 & 7, and a daughter 5 as a single father. I don't have a Big bank account and now I'm living on my social security. I always try to be respectful to any woman and I got a vasectomy after my 3 children so my ex and I wouldn't have a "Oops" but we got a divorce so it seems I should have waited anyway
