- In this Football Manager 2024 Experiment, we follow the story of 5 wonderkids, who all have the personality of 'Resolute'. They are potentially world class talents, but start out as young prospects who need to be nurtured to reach their potential. you should do a canadian wonderkid video. Start him off at Toronto fc, call him Wayne Gretzky, and title the video, "what if Wayne Gretzky decided to play football instead of hockey?"
I do think it would be interesting to see how careers would go for wonderkids in the americas.

If you are looking at nationalities... it could be interesting to see if creating something like a full XI of Latvian (or of the like) wonderkids starting on the same team in a domestic league who all have random secondary nationality of World Cup adjacent country (Czechia, Iceland, Mali, Jamaica, Uzbekistan, etc) get on for who they declare for, knowing that if all of them go with their "weaker" nation it probably turns it into one of the best in the world but the more "prestigious" callup pulls them all away

i do enjoy these experiments. What i wonder is how many of these players were actually captains for their club/country cause i saw jerzy was captain at PSG while victor was vice-captain at lazio
I never tend to focus on this really, but it is a good point. I wonder if it can also help in becoming a legend instead of favoured personnel or icon
Hey Jay, you missed a few things, Henrik Pettersen won four footballer of the years. Maybe you can do what you do with teams and put on a note so you have the stars so you don't miss the player awards?

Austrian regens coming... after this I thought pur best option to get Ralph to.manage them was have an Austrian 🤣
I think it would be cool to do 5 wonderkids with max loyalty, all at low-mid table top 5 league sides and see which team ends up doing best overall as well as each player
Loyalty means very little sadly. A wonderkid at Crystal Palace say, would almost certainly move to one of the big teams, unless I locked them at the club

I mean the best nationalities you can do is Andorra, San Marino, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein and Latvia. Anrorran player easilycan start in Spain as well as San Marinian in Italy and Liechtenstainian in Swiss league. Kinda interesting to see what they’ll do on national level.

I think I've neglected Latvia... not intentionally of course. I'll keep them in mind for my next batch of database creations 👍
I would love to se central Europe (close to my heart) - Hungary, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia (or Slovenia). Small nations with big hearts (shown by Croatia mostly past years)
I have a random collection of these in future experiments

You should do something with FC Midtjylland in denmark, they have one of the best youth centers in eurpe outside if the top 5 leagues, otherwise enything with the superliga would be fun

Had to look up where Hykkelbjerg was located, and it turns out to be close to the unfortunately named town of Lem (which loosely translates to "member" in that sense. Don't think it was the original intention).
The four top tiers in Denmark are all 12-team leagues, where all teams play each other two times, then the league splits in half, points are retained, and the teams player each other twice in their respective playoffs. You're probably right that Hykkelbjerg's development was slowed by the Danish second tier not being the best league around - and Helsingør aren't exactly promotion candidates either (then again, Hvidovre weren't considered promotion candidates last season either, and they still succeeded).
Your biggest sale beats mine, which was at €180M. Sold my WBR (he could also play as a winger) to Barcelona for that amount on FM21 a season and a half (or maybe two seasons and a half) after signing him for €1.5M. Also turned down a €200M offer for my star striker in that save.
Ahh thanks for educating me on the Danish league structure. Still 180 on FM21 is good. Money going more insane each edition of FM

It would be good to see a world cup but each nations squad is based on where a player plays, rather than where they were born. For example, Haaland could play for England but Bellingham would play for Spain.

Hey I have been watching your videos since few months and they are great but the only problem is with the length of your videos. If you make them around 20 min you have a great chance to get the subscribers, as I am really feel that you deserve more subscribers
Thanks for the feedback. I know what you mean, I spent a lot of FM23 trying to be around the 20 minute mark and it was difficult to condense. I have let go of that this year and I feel the video's are better for it and a lot of people have said they prefer the longer videos as well, along with insane growth in the last couple of months it feels like its working. If the length is an issue for you, watch on times 2 😎
bit of a weird request and i dont even know if you can do it, but seeing if a team with, for example, a 50 point deduction could survive in the prem.

@@jayhuahua No but they have a team in the A- League which works just as well. They have a very wide scouting range in Oceania and pick up players from all sorts of nations in my experience. They produced the greatest wonder kid I’ve ever seen generate in an FM save, a Solomon Islander striker called Adam Wright who had 200 PA and ended up hitting that at Brighton. They are a good team if you want to use Oceanian wonder kids.
Resolute should work really well. I always buy resolute players when I can. They seem to develop well.
