In 2016, Eric Clapton’s "Tears in Heaven" made Kinga Głyk a RUclips-Star. By now, she has become one of the most sought-after electric bass players of her home country Poland. Only 23 years old, the musician has already published four albums. Her most recent one, »Feelings«, will appear in a fresh big band guise at the Europa Open Air. It was produced by her keyboarder Paweł Tomaszewski. Naturally, the conductor Jörg Achim Keller himself has proven a lot of "feeling" arranging the songs of Głyks new CD.

Eric Claptons "Tears in Heaven“ machte sie 2016 zum RUclips-Star. Inzwischen ist Kinga Głyk eine der gefragtesten E-Bassistinnen ihrer Heimat. Vier Alben hat die gerade einmal 23-jährige Polin bereits veröffentlicht. Ihr aktuelles, "Feelings“, gibt’s beim Europa Open Air im Big-Band-Gewand.

Thank u so much hr big band for this posting. Kinga's 'Feelings' album has been on steady rotation since I first heard it. This pairing of hr bigband with Kinga, with her drummer and keys is amazing. Mad respect for this concerts sound engineers. Recording is so clean and balanced. Brava Kinga!

Halleluja !!!, Das ist kein Bigandsound wie man ihn sich vorstellt, das ist heiß...richtig heiß ! Mein Kaffewasser hat schon gekocht obwohl ich die Platte noch gar nicht angeschalten hatte 🤣. Selten so eine homogene Einheit erlebt. Wie wenn sie schon ewig zusammen spielten. Kein Lied das in irgend einer Weise abgefallen wäre. Groove so weit das Auge, Ohr reicht aber auch komplexe Rythmusüberlagerungen für Technikfreaks, wouw ! Noch dazu auch wundervoll zarte Töne dass mir, ich gebe es zu, die Äuglein schon ein bisschen feucht wurden. Jedes Lied ein Genuss auf höchstem Niveau. Shampoon 😅dafür. Hut ab vor allen Mitspielern...allen ! Ich sehe, höre es mir jetzt gleich nochmal an ! Spiele selbst Bass,so zum Spaß, folglich bin ich musikalisch also etwas vorbelastet und sehe, höre es aus einer gewissen fachlichen Richtung. In dieser Stilrichtung ist mir eine Steigerung nicht vorstellbar. Schön dass der Bassist der früher viel zu oft im Hintergrund agierte, endlich mal besser gehört wird, da er vom normalen Hörer meist völlig zu Unrecht eigentlich unterschätzt wurde. Die Mädels und Jungs leisten oft fantastisches in ihrer tiefen Welt im Hintergrund und gelten doch wieder als Nebenintrument, das zwar dabei sein muss aber keine melodiöse Rolle spielt. Das wird jetzt besser. Danke für dieses tolle Erlebniss !👌👍❤
Gracias por compartir......it's been 10 years now that I've been following Kinga she was a very young teenager then.....she is a most beautiful and talented young lady now and I am still her devoted admirer and I just can only wonder wher she will be some time from now...she is so young and gifted yup some kind of Blessing to have someone like her close around Txs Miss Glyc you are the Best!
Well I was totally mesmerized by the sound and the arrangements. Really hope you come to California soon. I would love to hear you live. Thank you for this presentation of music. It sure helped my heart going through such a tough time in our life and country it was wonderful to escape from it all for a bit. Keep the groove alive
