In 2016, Eric Clapton’s "Tears in Heaven" made Kinga Głyk a RUclips-Star. By now, she has become one of the most sought-after electric bass players of her home country Poland. Only 23 years old, the musician has already published four albums. Her most recent one, »Feelings«, will appear in a fresh big band guise at the Europa Open Air. It was produced by her keyboarder Paweł Tomaszewski. Naturally, the conductor Jörg Achim Keller himself has proven a lot of "feeling" arranging the songs of Głyks new CD.

Eric Claptons "Tears in Heaven“ machte sie 2016 zum RUclips-Star. Inzwischen ist Kinga Głyk eine der gefragtesten E-Bassistinnen ihrer Heimat. Vier Alben hat die gerade einmal 23-jährige Polin bereits veröffentlicht. Ihr aktuelles, "Feelings“, gibt’s beim Europa Open Air im Big-Band-Gewand.

Ich hatte das Glück Kinga kennen zu lernen. Wir hatten lange Gespräche in Biel und Basel. Fazit: Eine äusserst sympatische nicht eingebildete Person, sehr offen, interessiert in vielen Bereichen und vor allem eine unermüdliche Perfektionistin, üben und nochmals üben.

Tolles Konzert, bei dem ich gerne vor Ort gewesen wäre. Tut gut, mal wieder so eine tolle Live-Atmosphäre zu sehen und zu hören. Knackige Arrangements und beeindruckende Künstler(in) aus PL.

Ich mag Kinga immer mehr. Nicht nur, weil sie eine talentierte Instrumentalistin ist, sondern auch aufgrund ihrer herausragenden Kompositionen. Dies wird besonders deutlich in Verbindung mit dieser beeindruckenden Big Band. Darüber hinaus hat sich Kinga mit ihrer sympathischen Art auch einen Platz in meinem Herzen erobert..
I like Kinga more and more. Not only is she a great instrumentalist, but her compositions are truly outstanding as well. This becomes particularly evident in conjunction with this exceptional big band. Furthermore, Kinga has also won over my heart with her likable personality.

No doubt that music transcends all languages and ages. Looks like a great day. My family is from Denmark and mostly Stavanger Norway.... music has always been a part of my life. My band still plays every month and we are all getting old... but music makes you young again... even if the equipment is heavy.

British New wave granddaddy Sting is in the audience... checkout out 17min:55sec. This was revealed in a cutaway during the synth player's solo. The cameraman was obviously more enthralled with the pretty black lady sitting behind the New wave Icon....what a show
