Lon: reads “step one, turn computer off before cleaning”. Also Lon: cleans screen while still running 😂😂. Exactly how I do it, glad to see I’m not alone
Purchased it after watching your video and it worked great for us on all our Apple devices and my monitor screens. My wife's comment after using it was, her devices felt and looked new.
For the keyboard suggestion, the keys on the keyboard may just be worn down from use, Apple’s keyboards are know to wear fairly easily and I don’t think there’s any way to remove that shine from the keys
I think your keys are just worn smooth, they aren't greasy. I know when I go to re-sell an old notebook that knocks the price down quite a bit. On notebooks I know I'm going to sell I get a silicone cover just so the keys don't wear down, not really to keep it safe from spills and dirt.
Only takes a couple of sprays your two or three was more like 17, yes, I counted , you don’t need to spritz again you use the dry part of the towel to buff it and it shines like new
Couple drops of Dawn dish soap in some warm water and a microfiber cloth... Wipe it on. Let it sit. Wipe it off, rinse and repeat if needed. Should take care of the skin oils
90% IPA is what I've used for nearly a decade. It works so well, and you can buy it buy the gallons for super cheap. Just pick up some bulk IPA and a cheapo spray bottle from dollar tree... you'll save a lot of money.
It seems like its not cleaning your keyboard because what you actually have on your keyboard is erosion of the surfaces of the keys. Youve typed on your keyboard so many times that by pressing on the keys each time you erode the key surface a tiny bit
I wonder if it has a ceramic coating in this. As for distilled water one more extra step & cost than I could be bothered with. It looks good but I use a ceramic spray that is meant for my car & it gives 100% results & also minimises finger prints for a small while.
Would you still recommend it after using it for the past year? I am interested in purchasing it but I am worried that my screen might get faded from bad products. So I would like to hear your thoughts.
I have this white circles on my screen that isn’t a scratch as when I scraped it some of it came off but the rest is stuck on my screen I don’t know if it’s built up dust or grime but would the cleaner help remove it as simply wiping it won’t come off
Woosh! - Love the product (wish I could stop with that), but hate the customer support. I bought the large 16.9oz container awhile back, stored in a cool dry dark location (aka: a closet) and noticed after a time that the colour of the liquid turned a creamy yellowish. So I called customer support to find out if it was still safe to use. I left my number, no call back, called again, and again-again, etc. same result. I've sent emails, again no response. I don't care what the answer is, more than informing me if I should dispose of what I have, which will determine what size container I will buy in the future. There is absolutely no excuse for service this bad.
Im finding it hard to see difference between any other generic screen cleaning solution. You are supposed to use distiled water as normal water can damage the screen. Anyway, it does work nicely, but so is every other screen cleaning solution :) :)
The whoosh is better at removing greasy fingerprints than just distilled water. I don't know how but it leaves screen squeaky clean on the first try with minimal wiping.
I've always had good luck just using plain water on a MF towel. You could probably get the same result from 1 drop of baby shampoo mixed into a bottle of water. At least the product is reasonably priced, 2 towels and a spray bottle for $20 is ok.
Office move with really disgusting dirty screens. Thought we would start fresh, tried distilled water, but found it left streaks. Whoosh! worked great.
There is quite a bit of wax in it, which is why it doesn't clean very well. The wax builds up on the screen after several applications of this product, making it fog the screen. WOOSH!
Vinegar windex and a micro fiber cloth work just as well. The micro fiber cloth helps a lot. I've used it on all my laptops, including the lenovo with that soft touch plastic or whatever they call it. But yes, spray the cloth and usually helps to have a clean and dry mirco fiber cloth to do the drying with.
yes I would be curious about this as I have an LG OLED tv and I saw elsewhere that someone had his tv screen get all hazy after using this, so I certainly want to be careful. I've used it without issue on phones, iMacs, iPads, etc
@@MarkHolmesI’m suspicious. How much did they use? Whoosh can get hazy when too much is used. That makes sense because it’s not a clear liquid. Also after cleaning you have to buff it out with a dry portion of the cloth or with an entirely different cloth.
Why not just 99% alcohol and a microfiber cloth? For the price of this item one could easily afford a Zep 32 oz bottle, 32 oz of 99% isopropyl alcohol and a pack of microfiber cloths.
I've been using whoosh for years! Great product! I've always recommended it to anyone who asked me for tech cleaning.
Lon: reads “step one, turn computer off before cleaning”. Also Lon: cleans screen while still running 😂😂. Exactly how I do it, glad to see I’m not alone
Same
I can confirm the bottle lasts a long time. I bought whoosh in 2019 and still have some and it still works.
@@ccroy2001 me too I’ve had my bottle for about 2 or three years now
Before I watched this video, I bought Whoosh. Now I'm confident this will work after watching this! Waiting for it to arrive at my home.
I’ve been using Whoosh for a few years. A little goes a long way. Great stuff.

Yeah I’ve found this to have the best results of any cleaner I’ve used - and it gets those results quickly vs having to do a lot of scrubbing.
For the keyboard suggestion, the keys on the keyboard may just be worn down from use, Apple’s keyboards are know to wear fairly easily and I don’t think there’s any way to remove that shine from the keys
Yes, all my keyboards end up like this eventually. It's less noticeable on the white keyboards though.
Is this the first time a liquid has been reviewed on the channel? 😂
I have used Whoosh for my glasses for years after a friend recommended it. Brilliant stuff and very effective.

I use distilled water - no odors, no residue, good price. Sometimes I warm up the water to body temperature.
Couple drops of Dawn dish soap in some warm water and a microfiber cloth... Wipe it on. Let it sit. Wipe it off, rinse and repeat if needed. Should take care of the skin oils
Just bought one last month and Iloveit so much it really cleans your screen
I've been using Whoosh for years. Is there a reason you didn't turn off the laptops per instructions?
Wow I’ve been using this for years it’s great
I use equate Lens Cleaner and a microfiber cloth. You could use any lens cleaner that is safe for anti-reflective coatings on your glasses.
90% IPA is what I've used for nearly a decade. It works so well, and you can buy it buy the gallons for super cheap. Just pick up some bulk IPA and a cheapo spray bottle from dollar tree... you'll save a lot of money.
Imagine if it were a touch screen! Thanks Lon...
Would be curious to see one half cleaned with Whoosh, and the other half with tap water.
Great video. Please don’t use running alcohol on the keyboard keys it will start fading the letters & numbers on the keys.
Whoosh 1 bottle was disposable and couldn’t even unscrew it, glad they remedied it this time.

The free spray bottles of eye glass cleaner and a MF cloth work great.
The Apple store by my place was just using alcohol wipes. They didn't have this stuff anywhere in the store.
Would you still recommend it after using it for the past year? I am interested in purchasing it but I am worried that my screen might get faded from bad products. So I would like to hear your thoughts.
So far so good!
I bought this yesterday and just used it on my Mac air
It works well, need to find a cleaner for the keyboard tho
Nice video; It looks like it cleaned your mac screen very well

I have an Apple IIc+ thats functions. with a dot matrix printer recieved new had safe ever since 5 1/4 floppy and 3 1/2 hard disc

What is the difference versus distilled water?

They keyboard shine is the keys Losing the micro texture from wear so it look shiny. It's not oil shine. So it's not going to clean off.
With the one I use I spray directly on the screen and never had an issue
It's the best Screen Cleaner around
Hands-down
Your clothes is huge
I didn't get a clothe that size but I have the same Bottle
Instructions - Spray 2-3 times.
Proceeds to spray 25 times. 😂☠️

Does it work on TV screens
No
Yes any screen
Yes, used it over the weekend on our 55-inch Sony TV.

On TV screen?
Whoosh is great on TVs! Just clean them when the TVs have been off for a while.
why are you cleaning a computer while it's on?
lmao $20. Of course they'd have to invoke Apple's name in order to justify that kind of pricing.
Put oil on keyboard and rubbing around until it shines.
1 part alcohol + 1 part water. Put it in a spray bottle.
Alcohol will strip oleophobic coating off screens and will damage screens
So filthy 😂
Try Windex (or generic Walmart window cleaner). Probably cheaper, and it works great. Cleans the whole laptop.
Don't use any product that has ammonia or alcohol in it.
Too complex and expensive solution when isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber towel work well, for cheap.
no alcohol!
Why not just 99% alcohol and a microfiber cloth?
For the price of this item one could easily afford a Zep 32 oz bottle, 32 oz of 99% isopropyl alcohol and a pack of microfiber cloths.
Alcohol will strip coatings off screen like oleophobic and just anything that protects the screen and then the liquid will go through the screen
Why did he use half the bottle just to spray the cloth???
how did you get the idea that he used half the bottle? He only put a few sprays on the cloth
