Exactly man. People hated it first listen because they wanted to compare it to GBGR. They had high expectations and when they weren't slightly met at times it was considered trash lol. both are very good albums, DRFL has more to offer but GBGR has the most nostalgia. When people stopped comparing it to GBGR they started to like it. People loved GBGR so much they wanted DRFL to be as good or better than it...
There’s only like 1-2 debatable bad songs. The rest are extremely fire.

Imo there was plenty of good tracks, probably only 2 or 3 I didn’t like tbh. You guys act like just since you didn’t like it then everyone that does like it “isn’t being honest”, you know the type of music juice wrld makes and then you act devastated when he makes it, especially since besides the few love songs on this album it is very similar to Goodbye and Good Riddance.

this album aged like fine wine imo. People didn't like it first listen, but it's an album where the songs will grow on you over time. People knew how good GBGR was and judged DRFL to meet those standards or it would be trash lol. I think it's a more versatile album than GBGR, but idk GBGR is very special and nostalgic. I think people had high hopes for this one and it didn't hit right the first listen for especially these guys bc it sounds so different from GBGR

im lost as fuck rn, where exactly did their expectations of juice come from, cus this album aint a masterpiece and there is a handful of throwaways, but it is a good album still in the same vein as the rest of his music, same lyrical content and moody atmosphere. juice never been a great writer but if anything hes become a more confident performer. juice aint for everyone and i do like these guys, but their reactions made no sense if theyve actually fucked with juice up until this point

Don’t claim your a fan then dog his fuckin album, this hit #1 after one day of being out not even, Juice Wrld choosing this style and it’s not the only thing he knows and he doesn’t want us to feel sad from listening to his songs , he wants us to learn from them and pursue happiness , there reaction was two sided, I don’t know bout you but I love all 22 tracks and will still love them and this album is just his second album soo he has time to improve

I was real disappointed wit this album at first but as I re-listened to the tracks they really grew on me man especially who shot Cupid and empty they took me to a real place as a connected what I’m goin through to the lyrics of the songs bro. I love Juice Wrld a lot. But most of the songs on this album sound very similar. It’s kinda like they sound unfinished or a rough first cut. He has an amazing and unique sound but I feel like he didnt put enough time on this project, or didnt work on each song enough to make it complete. (maybe not him, his engineer or producer, idk)

We all have different taste of juice wrld music, and you can call an album bad because it’s your opinion, but don’t throw a bad vibe over his album, and call it bad quality, juice puts effort into all his music unless it’s a freestyle, but he has varieties of his own music, and that’s what I like about him. I personally like about 7 songs off this album, and if you read these comments they will say which ones they like and don’t, and you can take it into consideration that all his music isn’t for everyone. There is no such thing as a perfect album.
I mean we all have different taste, i personally downloaded 11/22 songs and i listen to them everyday.
