Meaning of Train Food:
I think the train is a metaphor for death. So in the last line when the train arrives, it is death approaching Jahseh. He always prayed for his death when he was younger and he was aware that it would come soon. Now his life memories and dreams are flashing before his eyes as death gets closer. He mentions “He could of had a son or daughter now what you finna do”. At the time this record was recorded, Jah was aware he would be a father, but he had a feeling the devil would betray him. The “evil fuck” is the devil himself and in the next line he describes being “surprised” by the betrayal of the devil. In this sense, he’s depicting how the devil fooled him into believing that he could give him all his “fucking dreams” of luxuries but only in return for his soul. In Jah’s previous song, “I spoke with the devil in miami”, he speaks about how he reached the lowest point in his life and the devil convinced him to sell his soul. He says “Now I’m trapped in a maze, setting my soul ablaze, couldn’t control the pace. Where is this going?” Since trading his soul, Jah felt trapped and had no control of what he was doing. He had become a shadow of the devil and was in need of liberty. “What you crave will soon be yours. But what I crave is already mine”. In this line, the devil is promising Jah that soon he will have his dreams but the devil himself already has what he wanted, Jah’s soul. Train Food is the opposite. Jah has now found purpose and meaning in life. He has put forth efforts to change himself and those around him. But this time around, the devil (death) is following him. The devil sees that Jah is changing and freeing his soul, so he kidnaps him. The devil reminds him that he has his soul and that it’s too late. Now no matter where Jahseh turned, death awaited him.

Train Food is so powerful to me...I like to think of the train as society as a whole. He's "naked" because his journey has exposed him to the dangers of society. Although the man he meets (the devil) puts him in this position, he stares at him and laughs from the distance because he knows that the ills of society will ultimately destroy him in the end. No one hears X's cries for help because the same people he once leaned on to encourage him to keep moving forward are the same people that will end up killing him, as he appears dead in his tracks. Just my interpretation of that song.

This album was a final goodbye, however Jaseh Dwayne Onfroy will love on forever. It is weird and mysterious as the intro is a prime example of voice overs that ppl used to contact spirits. On the train track X is talking about his death, and right besides the motorcycle dealership where X died there was a train track. The guardian angel song was also curious as that song was a reverse to Jocelyn Flores and there is a lot of i subliminalm messages of his death and how would he know to use that beat of him talking about his death after he passed. Guardian Angel is crazy because when you first reacted to Jocelyn Flores you’d never imagine X would be dead soon, and now you’re reacting to Jocelyn Flores reversed after he’s dead.
I was walking home from playing basketball and listening to Train Food and i kinda pieced together a sort of interpretation and enlightening moment through the song. The man he meets is apparently death himself, and X saw him, he knew something was up when he did when they spoke it ended in X dying. Backtracking a little bit, I have a feeling that Jahseh KNEW he was going to die. I have not a doubt in my mind that he knew he was going to live a short, extremely impactful life from the time he was 15 and onwards. That being said, Train Food was a metaphor for his life and his fast approaching death. When I look into his eyes, I see a soul that has lived many lives, many, many lives. He may not have known that walking into that motor shop was his own death sentences, but I do think that he believed any time could be his last. When he made eye contact with his killers walking passed him, this is all I think about and associate it with now. Jah knew he was going to die young and that it would be as quick as getting hit by a train, but just as frightening.

I think train food is about x knowing his death is coming, and the train just represents his death or the people that killed him. The man he meets might also represent the devil. One of his lines talked about having a son or a daughter but now your dead. And that’s heartbreaking because x knew his girl was pregnant before he died but he didn’t know what the gender was, and he died before he found out.
