    Try some 30w oil on the threads of your pto's, thats what we used all the time when hooking up an old hesston stackhand's pto. always came free when time to put the stacker away. Just a suggestion.

    • @SomeTechGuy666
      @SomeTechGuy666 3 года назад +4

      Corrosion (rust) makes parts bigger. Take a wire brush to the male shaft and knock the rust off it. Then treat it with some oil.
      PTO shafts are always a tight fit so they don't wobble and wear the splines out.

    I get the logic behind turning the header into a trailer but man that seems like quite a process compared to other trailers with 4 wheel steer.

      Exactly. That decision, I'm sure, was made easier by the fact that his in-laws live nearby (up there). Then there's the fact that he's not the only "next generation" that wants to farm and is probably not "first in line" in the succession plan. The clincher: wife is pregnant with their 1st-born and will be MUCH closer to her mom (happy wife = a happier life). I'd be wildly surprised if the possibility of this wasn't talked about before they decided to get married and/or have a kid.
