Nicely done. I alway wondered who is making those security ratings on the packaging. Do they ask locksmiths, or a panel of locksporters, or do they just guess lol. One of the secret of the universe, I assume 😂 we will never know. Have a good one
The lock manufactures themselves make up their own ratings. Here in Australia there is no standards that they have to follow to classify the security of their locks. Most lock companies like Master Lock rate their locks based on the build materials of the lock never on the quality of the cylinder in that lock, cheers
I’m sure they don’t get locksporters opinions 😂😂😂 it has to be based on luggage locks as a 1 or something like that. Remember PC ratings based on the old 8086 processor? Machines were “50 000 times faster” 😂😂
Thanks for the comment I like it too. All in all it is hefty and pretty, but a real joke from a security standpoint, and ultimately that is the most important thing a lock should be judged by.
Didn't look like the spool came into play at all? I reckon if you got ten of these four of them might be a bit harder than the others, thats where the rating comes from 😊
Very nice demonstration, cheers
Thanks PocketWomen. Short and sweet. Pin 3 spoke up nice and loudly in this lock!
😂😂😂😂 Pin tumbler for picking resistance 😂😂😂😂😂 SAY WHAAAT!!!!!
And that's a quick open 😉👍
I laughed at that - they are making fun of wafer or warded locks I guess?
Interesting video 👍😊
Thank you very much!

@@PocketWomen I figured as much. Still I would have loved to be a fly in th wall during the meetings on security levels, especially Master lock lol.

Quite true - but I’m still shut out of that 4th Master LOTO…

I didn’t feel any security pins. I like your explanation of the rating system 😂
