I have an '04 Rubicon and live in Chicago, so I get to drive in deep snow every winter. What I don't have though, is that amazing scenery to look at while driving. Amazing video to watch AND experience, and I thank you for posting it.
Beautiful! Your video "Moab Pilgrimage to the Promised Land" inspired me at a rough time in life years ago. It was what I needed. Today I'm out making my own vids and getting ready to head to my 2nd Easter Jeep Safari in Moab. :) Always appreciate what you guys do.
I love hearing stories like this! Great that you're out exploring and making memories, thats what its all about. and Easter Jeep Safari is a blast! we go every year!
Incredible video I have a 2017 jeep wrangler winter edition. And just kept imagining how much fun the KO2 tires would have there! I love the JL but only the Rubicon trim this one in particular because it was oht my range I got a JK winter edition but very happy with its capability! Keepem coming living my JL dreams through your vids lol
I have a 17' ZR2 I would have loved to have been in this video with you. Man, that just looks fun!!! I agree you do a better job than Jeep does at promoting their product. I love watching your videos even tho I am not a Jeep owner. You make it look SO FUN. Please keep up the good work man. Peace.
Your welcome. You never know, after watching your videos and seeing how you have so much fun I'm begging to wonder if there is not some "Jeep" secretly hiding in me somwhere!
LOL!! Most of our JL videos are just journal entries and are intended to be raw. We've been making a few exceptions and giving them the WAYALIFE treatment just because of the footage but we hope that you'll continue to watch our less edited and music lacking videos in the future.
Я наверное пересмотрел все видосы,какие только есть про этого красавца,но это видео я смотрел не один и не два раза,здесь я могу видеть всё его величие,это самый лучший аппарат который я бы себе взял,только почему он чертовски дорогой.
You guys are so lucky to have that right in your back yard. We would be neighbors if I wasn't enjoying the Tropic weather here in Taiwan at the moment ;-)
It's absolutely incredible how that Jeep gets through that 3-4" of snow!! haha...just messing. Looks lovely there while here in Bangkok, Thailand at 01:20 (am) it's still a heat index of 95! ;-(
LOL!! You'd be surprised at how hard it can be in places especially being that the snow underneath was all frozen and icy. Sounds like summer where you're at :)
It's always summer here..hot and hotter. Only here for a couple more months escaping some of the last remnants of Minnesota winters. Thanks for bringing me back to what is open country, fresh air and beautiful scenery. ;-) See you on the trails this summer.
I'm curious, the Jeep Wrangler compared to something like a Ram Powerwagon or F-350 or a midsize like a Chevy Colorado ZR2, does the additional weight of thise vehicles hinder their performance in the snow, or are they pretty good in snow as well?
It's more like the weight and where most of it is on a pickup that make them struggle in the snow. A lot of it is up front and nothing in the bed will leave you digging in or at least, on the trail.
Awesome video It should be on a Jeep commercial You have any regrets not getting the 4 cylinder Turbo I'm not a big fan of it myself I see you can order As an option on the Jeep site
LOL!! Thank you. We're glad you liked it. Regarding the 2.0L Turbo, not a fan of the $3k premium or the fact that it requires significant more amount of service and on a more frequent basis.
Do you like the BFG all terrains, or wish it had BFG mud terrains? I have a 2 door JL Rubicon on order, but have to deal with heavy clay mud on occasion. My JK's both had BFG mud terrains, and that worked pretty well for me.
I realize auto is better for rocks but these days with the manual slowly dying because of emissions or lack of respect (outside of the Jeep community), I feel I gotta do my part & order a manual to help keep it alive.
Love your JL. I hope to be ordering mine soon. Very similar but leather and 6 spd manual. I'm new to your channel but am curious why you opted for the automatic? Seems like the take rate on the manual is much lower that the past generations. Is it because the 8 spd is so good or your preference is auto for 4 wheeling? Thx. Great video.
Cindy and I grew up driving and wheeling manuals, it's what we know best and enjoy driving. However, automatics are just flat out better on the rocks. It's like the difference between wheeling with lockers and open diffs.
Thanks for the quick response. I've had 2 Willys pick ups and still have a Wagon, and a few sports cars, all manuals. I'm in Massachusetts and my wheeling will be beach and dune cruising, fire roads and maybe a muddy or rutted trail. The rocks reasoning makes sense, I'm starting to get it. I'll stay with the manual for open top fun cruising. BTW when you were gunning it up that snowy hill, that motor sounded great!
I know the video is old, but you’re really selling me a wrangler.. the only thing stopping me is people’s feed back on the reliability, they say you’ll really get to know your mechanic after owning a wrangler.. 😭😭
Hi Wayne, I am just your new subscriber, I am very interested in the new wrangler, and I just saw some many wranglers have leaking issues, not sure if they have improved it in JL, I know it hasn't been long enough to test the seal, could you please address that if there's any leak? Thank you! BTW, your videos are fantastic and super informative, keep it up!
Umm, apparently you mean like ALL convertables including BMW's, Audi's and the like. Anytime you have a top that can be completely removed, there is a chance for leaks. Buy a hard top and never take it off and you won't have any.
Thanks for that. We don't get much snow and ice here on Vancouver Island and I think for once I will pass on undercoating. Be nice to have to keep the underside clean and original.
great video, but in traction, Subaru wins. great video though. Subaru is the most preferred vehicle for inclement weather, especially in Canada. Rubicons, shopping mall dwellers, and rock climbing jamboree bs.
I’ve watched this video probably half a dozen times, everything single time I’ve enjoyed every second of it !
Just wow! 👍👍👍👍👍👍🍻
Thank you. We're so glad you enjoyed it :)

The snow is the most beatiful thing in the world, its my dream to see it and touch it 😍🤚❄
You have to love a jeep, I am on my second one now, I wore the first one out 245,000 miles when I sold it.
Awesome :)
Love the first morning after a snow storm when the sun comes out. Looks amazing.
Thanks!
Love off road vehicles. This is seriously my next purchase!
Thanks for this. I moved away from the Reno area 3 years ago and I miss the beauty of the high desert.
Jerry Adams You should have seen how much snow we received this year in the Reno and the surrounding areas.
What a beautiful jeep and the county side is awesome. Thanks for the video
We're glad to hear you enjoyed the video :)
Love my 21 wrangler willys can’t wait to try it In the snow tomorrow
Awesome 👍

Thank you. So happy to hear you enjoyed the video :)
Mauve. Lots and lots of mauve. Jeeping and shooting during magic hour.... excellent.
LOL!! Glad to hear you approve.

Awesome. My dream car, in yellow of course.
Nice!

LOL!! Thank you. It's great to hear you can still appreciate and enjoy our videos even though you're not a Jeep guy.
Your welcome. You never know, after watching your videos and seeing how you have so much fun I'm begging to wonder if there is not some "Jeep" secretly hiding in me somwhere!
amazing landscape and images ! Thx for sharing ! Thumbs up !
Jeep Wrangler = family, community, team, etc.. No other off road vehicle comes with that.
Astonishing beauty! Looks like the KO2's did pretty good in the snow.
Yeah, the KO2's do alright.
Beautiful video!! My next vehicle, for sure!!
Thank you :)
Good choice! haha
That's why I like Wrangler
I really enjoy these JL videos! Thank you
Its great seeing the new wrangler out on the trails, and eddie does a great job giving us personal experience with them
We're so glad to hear it. Thanks for watching :)
LOL!! I appreciate it :)
Great video, thanks for sharing .
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Soooo beautiful landscape and car😍😍😍

This is like a National geographic Jeep video! “Jeep in the wild”
Very nice! Your videos are getting better and better every time! Good job
LOL!! Most of our JL videos are just journal entries and are intended to be raw. We've been making a few exceptions and giving them the WAYALIFE treatment just because of the footage but we hope that you'll continue to watch our less edited and music lacking videos in the future.
Of course I will. Thanks for doing what you do
Considering it's stock, it did alright in the snow.👍
Yeah, not too bad.
Got our new Jeep JL Sahara and we love it - going on road trips every weekend having a blast !!!
Congrats to you :)
I'm getting my license soon, and I want a Jeep SO bad!
Я наверное пересмотрел все видосы,какие только есть про этого красавца,но это видео я смотрел не один и не два раза,здесь я могу видеть всё его величие,это самый лучший аппарат который я бы себе взял,только почему он чертовски дорогой.

Awesome have a good time
My wife and I have a 21 Willys and we absolutely love it. Where is this?
Congratulations to you! This is up near Carson City, NV
Красавец!!!!!! Зачётный Jeep !!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looks awesome!
You guys are so lucky to have that right in your back yard. We would be neighbors if I wasn't enjoying the Tropic weather here in Taiwan at the moment ;-)
That was beautiful , thank you !
Glad to hear you liked it :)
Very nice, very cinematic.
Thank you :)
Nice footage. Beautiful snow scenery and a beautiful Jeep.... Just waiting for my long lost uncle to leave me a fortune soi can go buy one... LOL
It make take some time but if you work hard and save up, you can have one too. Certainly, none of this came to us overnight.
love these shots in the snow. We enjoy snow wheeling around here as well, it makes the easy trails more interesting lol. Fun little video!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
Beautiful video.
Thank you.
Geez you do a better job promoting the product and Chrysler does...
LOL!! We're flattered that you would say as much.
Dang! you're fast...
haha true
LOL!! I try :)
Nice. Now which are you this passionate about? Whatever makes ppl happy. Thanks for pointing out lolol

Very cool!!!
Very crazy, of Jeep Rubicon...
Well done!
Thank you
Nice ride and scenery \_/ love snow wheeling ….. what engine is in your Jeep ? I’m looking to factory order and still don’t know what to order .
We have the 3.6L
Etorque? Cuz the only 3.6 that is available not on 2022s are forced with etorque and the only non etorque is now the 2.0l
No. 3.6 because it was the only thing available when we bought this 2018 JLUR
That looks fun good video
It really was, thanks!
Nice! Keep the great videos coming my friends!
Thanks, we'll be sure to keep them coming :)
Great camera work! Man, you have found the perfect area to have a Jeep. Rocks. Snow. Mountains. What more do you need? :)
It is why we live where we do. :)
May I ask where it is that you live? That scenery is beautiful. I love the southwest, but live in mid-atlantic area, outside Philadelphia.
Carson City, Nevada.
Channel registered!Do you have tires and lifts up?If you don't mind, I'd like to know the size!
It's absolutely incredible how that Jeep gets through that 3-4" of snow!! haha...just messing. Looks lovely there while here in Bangkok, Thailand at 01:20 (am) it's still a heat index of 95! ;-(

Enjoy your time in Thailand :)

That was an incredible vid!!👍🏻
Thank you :)
Must be somewhere near Carson City.
As a matter of fact, yes it is :)

BFG makes decent tires and I run them on a couple of my Jeeps. That being said, there are other tires we prefer more such as Cooper STT Pros.
Hi, are those Rubicon stock tires? I am thinking about getting winter tires but looks like KO2s doing well
Yeah, these did well for us.
Was any of this done with the lockers? Just curious if you could get up the hill with less throttle
Yup. Couldn't even hope to start some of the climbs without them. The ground underneath the freshly fallen snow was all frozen.
Great video👍
Thank you :)
I’ve seen some of these 2018 rubicons for as low as 38k, is that because it’s missing auto start, back up camera...?
awosome clip. however new wrangler looks bit heavy there.
LOL!! Well yeah, it's a Wrangler.
니가 가면 길이 됀다. 그게 루비콘!😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩
i really want it....😍😍😍
Keren sekali ni mobil,jadi kepengen.
I realize auto is better for rocks but these days with the manual slowly dying because of emissions or lack of respect (outside of the Jeep community), I feel I gotta do my part & order a manual to help keep it alive.
That's why we still own a CJ-5 and a CJ3B among other things :)
Wayalife - respect. I think it helps that I’m also from Jersey so we don’t have much that would require an automatic but PA isn’t too far.
Good picture 👍
Respect
Nice video!! Thank you mate) Nice Jeep! I want it too...
Thank you :)
Is it cold in the cabin? Because of the top being removable ?
Nope.
What about the Wrangler hybrid?
Are you referring to the 2.0L turbo?
Love your JL. I hope to be ordering mine soon. Very similar but leather and 6 spd manual. I'm new to your channel but am curious why you opted for the automatic? Seems like the take rate on the manual is much lower that the past generations. Is it because the 8 spd is so good or your preference is auto for 4 wheeling? Thx. Great video.

I'll stay with the manual for open top fun cruising. BTW when you were gunning it up that snowy hill, that motor sounded great!
If I were out in your neck of the woods, I would have a manual too.
are these the stock all terrain tires that come with Rubicon?
Yup, what you see is a bone stock Jeep, tires and all.
Does the cold get in the hardtop?
I find that the hard top does a good job of helping to keep the cold out. Certainly, better than a soft top. Plus, you can add insulation to them.
I know the video is old, but you’re really selling me a wrangler.. the only thing stopping me is people’s feed back on the reliability, they say you’ll really get to know your mechanic after owning a wrangler.. 😭😭
I dunno, mine seems to work great and problem free even after more than 2 years and 45k miles.
Not sure what leaks you're referring to but so far so good.
Umm, apparently some jeeps have water leaking issues on the roof, or side doors, this worries me a little bit
Umm, apparently you mean like ALL convertables including BMW's, Audi's and the like. Anytime you have a top that can be completely removed, there is a chance for leaks. Buy a hard top and never take it off and you won't have any.
yeah, I am interested in the hard top, cuz they look better to me :D, thank you again for your info!
Tire size is good..
I gotta go drive one but i'm keeping my JK Sahara
Great videography! Where was this shot at?
Thanks. This was down the street from where we live.
Question did you fix the damage from rock crawling it looks perfect your Rubicon!
If you're asking if I touched up some of the scratches, yes :)
is it 32" tyres?
Top
The tyres are original?
Yup, you're looking at a bone stock JL
Western Nevada?
Technically, northwestern Nevada but yes :)
Nice. What camera are you using?
Thanks! We just use an old Sony Handycam that we bought at Costco almost 10 years ago.
Meant to ask you while I wait for my JLU. Did you undercoat your Jeep JL ?Great video. Lots of fun.
Nope, no undercoating. While we get snow out in the west, they don't treat the roads the way they do back east.
Thanks for that. We don't get much snow and ice here on Vancouver Island and I think for once I will pass on undercoating. Be nice to have to keep the underside clean and original.
is ur Rubicon lifted and with 37s?
Not in this video. What you see is it in stock form.
@@wayalife wow it has that much capabilities just from stock amazing
LOL - oh yeah, right out of the box, the JL is very capable.
What is the name of the music in your video
Something like "Epic Adventure" or something like that. It's a track that we bought the rights to.
great video, but in traction, Subaru wins. great video though. Subaru is the most preferred vehicle for inclement weather, especially in Canada. Rubicons, shopping mall dwellers, and rock climbing jamboree bs.
How much this model costs?
As you see it in this video, it's about $50k
Can I ask what the total cost was?
Total cost for what?
Wayalife cost of the Jeep before you started the add ons.
$52k
Hi, where is it?
Northern Nevada
