Man this podcast is on point. I like some of the other former players' shows too, but this one is better because Rasheed and Bonzi actually let the guests speak and bring a more professional level direction to it. I'm actually mad I'm just hearing about this one, but great job. Rasheed Wallace is probably my favorite power forward of all time too.
Don't know how this one, got by me, but these 2 guys. RIGHT HERE, yesssssir, always knew what each of them was about, but when they came together, I was out of town in Atlanta, having some drinks at a famous sportsbar. We were watching "Sheeds" first game as a Piston. When I say I was letting it be known I was from The "D". I was so proud so happy. That was alls we needed! Love these guys, on top of it, I was born in Alabama, hell yeah , Love these guys !
Jermaine O'Neal back in 2002. He hit Michael Curry too, after a hard foul on Corliss Williams in the same fight. There is a clip on youtube if you dig deep enough
I always thought from the minute I saw it that Ron was felt intimidated by Ben Wallace and after he laid down and had a moment for the humiliation to start creeping in then the beer came flying. That's when he decided "impulsively" to try and save face by fighting the beer rather than Ben. No disrespect to Meta, but it's a real clear look into his "true" character. Love both guys to this day, but Body would have bodied Artest.
@@Supreme36074 Maybe, but I don't think so. You're gonna beat up a fan who's being an ignorant ass rather than checking the guy who just tossed you half way across your end of the court.. where 'I'm from.. that's just punk s*** , and hey I like Meta. It is what it is though, even though I don't agree with you I put respect on your opinion. 🙂
@@charlesbr7684 Ron backed off and did that, cause that was a part of his anger management routine. Stephen Jackson even talked about it and why Reggie Miller was there with Ron and patting his chest. Then when that beer hit his face. It triggered him.
Fact. In my humble opinion, the fan just provided the distraction Artest needed to avoid dealing with Ben Wallace. He's not smart at all but he's definitely not as crazy or stupid as he appears to be (What I call selective rage). He wanted no part of Ben Wallace but will beat up a fan in a heartbeat,

Artest's foul in that game temporarily changed Ben from a Piston into a Pist-off!

Ben you was a little girl getting so mad at a hard foul. Seriously
It was all Ben Wallace fault, couldn’t take a weak foul, soft, started the whole fight and then disappeared
