That’s awesome!🤘🤘
Hello from Kansas 🇺🇲
Hello there! Thanks for joining!
Good morning. Keep up the good history.
Thank you! I’m happy you enjoyed the video!
Yesssir real history
Yes indeed 🤘🤘🤘🤘
There is a small part of the Crescent City Connection bridges that cross into Gretna city limits at the middle of the river. There are small red pennants on the railings to indicate the city limits. That’s one of the reasons the bridge has a police force separate from NOPD.
Very interesting!
I always thought the bridge had its own police force to give those guys who were mentally and physically unfit for the NOPD and Jefferson Parish police forces a place to work.
Interesting history, thanks! The music is distracting though.
I’m happy you enjoyed the video!
Was living in Timberlane when I was a kid before Katrina.
That’s not far away at all!
Should have come seen me and the guys at gretna gun works, you were right there at the fire station haha. Were the oldest still operational gun shop in Louisiana, lots of history in there.
I need to come check y’all out for sure!
Appreciate the channel! Very informative. I would like some history on local fishing spots lake boeuf/ Clovelly. One day…. If you need a ride give me a shout…lol
Appreciate it my friend! I’ll get out there some time soon
What about Kenna Bro 😂
That one is coming soon!
Home of the exorbitant mayor’s court. Sorry, i meant extortionate! Everyone should have contempt for a place that makes a ridiculous amount of money with traffic fines, especially contempt of the court. On average, it’ll cost you over 500.00 US dollars. It’s an exercise in legalized extortion, and more extractive than dentistry. Good luck if you drive though there
Thanks for this info. The government is unbearably corrupt.
I've lived here all my life, Westwego is worse.
