My wife, daughter, and I were making a long drive home tonight. A 300 mile trip. Out of the blue, my wife turned on your Runaway album, touched me on the shoulder, and said, "This seems like good driving music". Listening through it all again in the quiet stillness of the long drive, I was reminded of all the things that made me fall in love with this darling woman 32 years ago. It all came back like a wonderful flood. We have very different tastes in music, but your songs are always very near & dear to us both (our daughter loves your music too). This is such a lovely album, one of my favorites. It reminds me of the boy who cried wolf, my other favorite. Your comments made it even more heartfelt. My parents are in Shanghai and they have been in lockdown for 16 days now, with meager amount of food left, living in despair and chaos everyday, not knowing how long the lockdown will last, at least 14 more days or more likely months. I am kind of similar as i dropped out of school with no qualifications and smoked a lot of the ganja, hit the recession lost my career as a joiner but became an electrician and now an engineer, how things change with hard work and dreams mate, my personal enjoyment comes from been been at the coast and iv taken full advantage of it and became a amateur fisherman on the side 🤣 ❤️
