My dad used to play this album on repeat when driving down to Devon on holiday, it’s very special, reminds me of my dad. It’s one of my favourite pieces of art ever.
i used to listen "circles" with my dad in our trips. I'm italian so he didn't understand anything xD and so he used to change the lyrics and we used to laugh together. This reminds me my dad too. So i just wanna say that i understand you. :)

This is definitely the favorite album of my life. It got me through a crazy time when it was released, and continues to impact me today. Just like it takes Michael back to what was happening in his life when he wrote the songs, it also takes me back to a time long gone in my past. The greatest part, it helps me remember the most wonderful thing in my life at that time, and now brings me complete peace with how that chapter concluded. The lyrics and music are perfect!! Good to hear Michael discuss a little bit about what was behind the songs and see he is still emotional and passionate about this work. Can’t wait to hear your next endeavor.

Speaking of the song "Let Her Go", you needed to experience a level of loss before you could write such a song. When it's real people feel it. Everything has a unique timing, fame happened at the right time, when you had lots to share. :) I got on board as a fan after hearing this song in Ontario, Canada and had to look up everything you ever sang. My fav folk album of all time. Only you can make a 43 year old man from Canada cry like a baby. I think that after all of this time that things that stop you dreaming is my fav. I think you have to come to Wales, feel the breath of Wales and maybe you will be inspired by another amazing song, these Welsh people (my future husband is Welsh) are so emotional, with an open heart and soul ... They are strong people, hardened by stone and then steel, and before that by the meteorological conditions in the country of Wales. The ocean, the houses, the mountains, the forests are extremely beautiful and the people. They remind me of my home- Bulgaria. I would love it if you would play Whispers II! While a lot of your other work may have come close, I think your best songs are on that album (including the deluxe songs). It has so many amazing story-telling songs that I believe do not get enough appreciation and really fit an acoustic performance.
