It can be difficult to realize animal instinct is just that and not borne of malevolence. Films like this help raise awareness for all species, but particularly the misunderstood grizzly bear. You rock, Robert. Welcome to America any time. It's great to such an internationally renowned and devoted wildfire experts here on your travels. Paz y luz.
Thanks 😊 I’m glad you think I have done the Bears and Katmai National Park justice with my film, It was very special to visit for the second time There is plenty more to come from there I’m very lucky to have travelled all over the world and being out in the Alaskan wilderness is amazing it really makes you feel alive
SO beautiful! I love bears. You must be just about to lose your mind! I can’t imagine getting to see this in person. Thank you for sharing this amazing footage!
Sensational footage and stories and underwater viewing of the salmon was so amazing, as they are on their long journey. It's a beautiful world there, thank you Robert 💚
Beautiful photography!! Thank you Robert for providing us with such amazing close-ups of nature! I treasure your channel and the gift of your talents that you share with all of us!
Thank you Robert for this beautiful video. I always learn so much from you and feel like I’ve been transported there perched on your shoulder! I can understand why being in Alaska makes you feel so good. It is a stunning place and I am so looking forward to your future videos of your experiences on that trip. Sad to hear about Grazer’s 2nd cub’s demise. 🙏💚🐻
What an amazing and wonderful video ! Thanks for always sharing your adventures with us ! So very much appreciated ! Looking forward to more to come ! 🥰🤗🐻
Oh, the thrill in your voice and footage tells us how much you love what you do! If I remember correctly, you used Sony a1’s and was lent a a7s. 🎥You lead us down the adventurous pathway with such excitement in each film. The footage is truly spectacular with clarity, color and details! I've not seen footage so crisp of the salmon beneath the water 💚❤💦nor so of 🤎🐻🤎🐻🤎s! The awe-inspiring 💞females of Brook Falls, especially Grazer and daughters, have been heard. 🐻🧸🧸❤ More to come ... of course, we must 🌊quench our thirst, our wildlife documentarian/artist. 🎥🎶🖌🎨🌎
Thanks 😊 glad you enjoyed the film 🐻 yes 🙌 filmed with Sony a1’s and a7s mark 3 lenses 100-400, 200-600 and 16-35 power zoom We are getting great results with Sony
Beautiful ~ I wasn't aware such viewing points existed , that/where bears will tolerate , and relax around , so many people . I watch little bears - badgers - here in the UK ; but , they're shy and hard as hell to observe , if they even smell you , they're off , or won't appear at all . If I lived near those falls , I'd be there , mesmerized , dawn till dusk . Let's hope the salmon keep running.; and , there's always enough space left for the bears .
Brooks Falls is an amazing place but there are quite a few people there. There are other places where I watch bears in Katmai National Park where the very few people and almost as many bears 🐻 check out my other videos on bears and keep watching to see more videos coming out over the next few months. I also spent a lot of time watching badgers 😊🐻🦡
@@RobertEFuller Good morning Robert (UK 10:25) ; and , thanku for response ~ I don't expect them ha ha . Hope to catch up with more that you do , ~ subscribed... Best wishes from sunny , freezing , beautiful SW Cornwall.
I have been to Brooks camp twice. I am a Former Fire Chief in that area and went once for fun and the other for a huge SAR for a hiker gone missing without a trace. The individual was a visiting foreigner and the entire park was searched by air and a great deal by foot where he was last known to be. It is believed that he was to eaten by a bear, but most likely he unintentional fallen into the river and drowned but without a body being found. It is still a mystery. I and the huge team felt for the family never knowning for sure how he had passed on by. Records of by flight and boat was searched and was never found. We sent personnel in rotation both paid and pain on call-volunteer. We also assisted the Park Service along with the state to find a missing plane that had crashed. Very costly to live, but such a naturist paradise! I truly miss the area.
Wow interesting story it’s a amazing place but the weather can make things challenging out there Most people think it’s bears that are dangerous but flights in small float planes are the most risky part of any trip like that
Amazing video. Your voice and videography is so calm and soothing. The content is exciting and so easy to watch. Keep up the amazing work Robert. Been a fan for many months now.
Robert, PLEASE, visit MAMMA Grizzly Bear 399 in the Grand Teton National Park ecosystem. She has an amazing story. She's learned to raise cubs in and around people.
Is there a concern that giving her more attention can put a target on her by unscrupulous hunters? Our Oregon wolves are having a terrible time being targeted.
Good question it’s sometimes hard to way it up But it’s quite simple at the end of the day wildlife, tourism saves wildlife and wild places because it buts a value on these incredible places protecting them from exploitation of natural resources There was a huge mineral mine proposed in Bristol Bay area but it’s lobbying to use the area for tourism instead that saved the hole eco system
Are you required to carry a firearm? Guy I used to work with did these remote fishing trips in northern canada where they would fly them in on those pontoon planes. They wouldn't even let them go unless they carried a 44 mag or bigger handgun because of the people that have been killed by the bears.
We had a guide with us most of the time that had a hand gun But the reality is most large cities are more dangerous and more people will be killed by wasps than bears probably, So I felt very comfortable around bears especially at that time of year as they are much more interested in salmon
@@RobertEFuller I guess some accidents happen when people are not respecting the wildlife and are inexperienced. I’m sure that you had faith in your guide and your lifetime of experience studying and appropriately observing wild animals. 🙏💚
@@jennyc1164 Yes I have be very lucky to spent a lot of time with animals all over the world, one of the problems is some people make wildlife out to be more dangerous than it is ! to make them look braver which changes public perception yes you have to give bears some respect but the dangers are over exaggerated
I hope you've enjoyed the video!

Beautiful creatures
It’s not that I’m brave the bears are busy catching salmon getting ready for hibernation and have little interest in humans
Beautiful animals in a stunning location, nature is our treasure

Rob, brilliant film, love watching the mums with cubs. I wouldn’t mind having one of the salmon on my dinner plate. 🥰🇦🇺

Oestrus, ready to mate, they can also eat the cubs but at that time of year there is a lot of salmon in the river salmon luckily
