There's no time left to waste now that you're finally awake. You took a lifetime to deprogram so let's cut to the chase. I'd say there's less than seven seconds till the bastards breach the door. Just remember nothing's real, they can't hurt you anymore. Run. Bullets ricochet, under the gun, reaching for the blade. Passing through the walls, bring the steel, silencing them all.
That was just reconnaissance; the calvary is next. Can you hear them shake the stairwell, weapons climbing up the steps? Until you cut the transmission the madness never stops and there will be no end of them until the signal drops.
Plummeting to pavement just before the room explodes... hordes of stacking bodies, fall broken by empty souls. Sent from high above to tear the curtain down. Bullets ricochet, under the gun, reaching for the blade. Passing through the walls, bring the steel, silencing them all beneath a simulated sun, hypnotized, sub-audible hum. Programmed to devour the One, I'll be the rage in your lungs until the network is undone.
It gazes on, full-scale panic panopticon. Light the match, lay to waste the isolation we create.
