That's pretty cool, back when I was at school whenever the fire alarm went off there the Stannah lift that was there goes into fire service and recalls to the ground floor then opens its doors and goes out of service same how this one did. It is done by a output relay in the fire alarm system which energizes a circuit to the controller summoning it to go into fire service. If the lift has a fire switch a firefighter can enable the lifts internal controls to use it for fire fighting
