Thanks mate, had it insured with nrma but when the overall cost increased the only person who I could get to cover it was club 4x4. Pricey, but piece of mind knowing that it is fully covered of all expenses 👍🏼
One thing you could improve. Put a shelf under the toilet to create storage and raise it to the top of the cabinet. Remove the cover and you can use it in place instead of trying to lift out a heavy toilet.
Toilet in its sealed bag gets pretty close to the lid anyways mate. I think I’d rather do my back in than poo in the troopy 😂😂 I see where you are coming from though mate. Cheers for the idea and for watching the videos 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Nice build! Was wondering about the latch behind Lyds' right shoulder and whether that's an aftermarket add-on to hold down your roof top or whether it came with your rooftop?
Hi Mark, nice to hear from you again mate. It’s a mixture of form ply, marine ply and just that laminated Bunnings pre cut timber sheets. I don’t recommend form ply at all. It’s a very basic form of ply and not really suitable for this application. I was just drawn to it due to its texture. It worked and it was fine but I would use something different if I was doing it again.
Have been watching your walk through vid of your fitout build. Think you used precut for draws and Vertical outside plates? and marine ply for draw sides and walkway walls? Was form ply for base?. Ps nice fish 🐟
Cheers brother, they are both ram mounts mate. Check their site they have so many options for different variants. Nah I haven’t mate, might do one in the future 👌🏽
You pulled off a couple of savvy design features and it all looks great, seems like it will be really functional for you. Your finish is the best I've seen for a home jobbie. Well done.
Hey mate, search EZ Flares on Ebay they should pop up. You can choose your width to accommodate your needs. They look neat don’t they?! . Hope this helps mate 👍🏼
Hi mate, the expedition centre who competed my mulgo install secured the solar panels and ran the wires into the car for me. I then completed the wiring into my charger etc
Awesome conversion. Love the idea of the pull out table, would never of thought it could work at that hight bit it looks perfect! One idea could be to increase the hight of your 12v cabinet at end end to give you a bigger level platform at the same hight of your fridge. Thanks for the video! Heaps of great ideas 👌
Great Video !!! Question? How do you connect the Cupboards that you take out once you are finished and want the back seat in. Did you just screw them together or bolt down to the Floor...Cheers Guys!!
Hi mate, thanks for the feedback. They are bolted into the holes that secure the seats and also bolted together. So yeah just unbolt them from each other and then remove the bolts holding them into the floor. 👌🏽 hope this helps ☺️
Pretty much flat out, -17 or something not really sold on it. Would be better having two thermostats and controls I think. But it’ll probably never break so 🤷🏽♂️
@@hookin Yeah I've heard some similar feedback. I've got just a regular Engel 40 litre and been happy with it, but was exploring fridge/freezer set ups. I'll probably stick with the 40 though. Like you said, it'll last a long time. Mines already 8 years old so far, fingers crossed for another 8 at least.
Great build series, you have nailed the fit out. You have given us some really cool ideas for our build. One question what brand is the utility panel. Safe travels 👍
Thanks mate, I’m glad that you have taken something away from the videos that’s awesome. It’s a high country fabrication utility panel mate. Check them out on Insta 🤙🏽 thanks for the positive feedback mate and watching the videos 😊
Shhweeet rig mate!
Cheers brother 🤙🏽
Well done,, looks great...how do you insure your troops or what insurance would you recommend?
Thanks mate, had it insured with nrma but when the overall cost increased the only person who I could get to cover it was club 4x4. Pricey, but piece of mind knowing that it is fully covered of all expenses 👍🏼

Very nice build. Thanks for the tip with the Teralume X-Strips!
Thank you! No problems they are holding up well on our travels so far. Very happy with them 👌🏽
Nice build! Was wondering about the latch behind Lyds' right shoulder and whether that's an aftermarket add-on to hold down your roof top or whether it came with your rooftop?
Hey mate, thanks for reaching out. That’s the factory mulgo latch mate. Good thing, no external ones that break all the time 👌🏽
Hey mate ,love your fitout.
What materials did you use

Bloody awesome setup so practical and useful, how many litres of water are you running and whereabouts are you storing i’d presume underneath?
Thanks mate, I have installed a 90L water tank underneath the car. I have previously done an install video of that if it’s of interest mate 🤙🏼
Great Vid Hookin!! ..what Brand /Model is the Sirocco Fan/Ipad Stand also do have any inside vids of your Electrical Cabinet ?? Cheers !!!!

Great stuff. What awning have u installed ? Looks sturdy
Bush company XT 270. Good thing 👍🏼
Those gull wings are about 20000% better than mine. But he doesn't make 76 series units yet.
Is he looking at making some?
Awesome build! Turned out bloody awesome, and love the fact it's still a true 5 seater!!
Looking forward to the travel videos!
Cheers mate, they will
be coming out shortly 😊
What have you added onto your flares? Looks pretty neat, im looking for something similar
Hey mate, search EZ Flares on Ebay they should pop up. You can choose your width to accommodate your needs. They look neat don’t they?! . Hope this helps mate 👍🏼
Attaboy Benny. Sick seeing it finished, can't wait to see what the future holds bro. Go Hook in 🤙
Cheers brother 🤙🏽 I’m glad to see it finished too just quietly haha fun times ahead 👌🏽time to hook in 😅
Who did your solar panel installed? I still can't figure out how to wire up from my alucab hercules roof conversion.Thanks.

Lots of novel ideas well done. You could try a bit of candle wax on the drawers or later upgrade to uhmwpe plastic slides?
Cheers mate, yeah I’ll see how they go. They working well so far but 6 months of flat out use might say otherwise 🤙🏽 I’ll give the wax a go though 👌🏽

Hahahaha cheers brother 🤙🏽
Good old car but all 78 and 79 series are as Boring AS seen one you have seen them all,
Fundamentally, but other than in a car yard I’ve never seen any two troopies the same 🤷🏽
