Nice video, but since I'm a newbie user in Cinema 4D and I'm using Vray to follow along, I couldn't find the "color user data" node equivalent in said render engine. I have various objects that I want to flicker but as soon as I apply the Vray light material, the random field noise animation gets overridden, just like in your instruction video. Help would be appreciated. Cheers.
Great tutorial. Stupid question, why does the flicker seem to be faster, when it is within a Cloner Object, as opposed to only flickering one element, with the Fracture Object?
Thank you! Not 100% sure, but I assume it's because the scale of the cloner object is some how different than the fracture. Because it is using a noise pattern, the scale will determine the speed. Without investigating, a simple fix would be to sacle up the nose pattern on the cloner object.
Thank you so much!
Always! 💪
for anyone not seeing the preview at 3:00 you need to have the Plain selected in the Objects menu
Incredibly helpful! Thank you sooooo much
You’re welcome 🙂
Cool stuff!
Thank you 🙏
Very good. But what do i do if i want to flicker two different things (color/opacity) independently? There is only one UserData for the clones, right.
How do you do the materials for this in octane?

Hello! Unfortunately I am not familiar with Vray so I am not able to help you with this, I wish I could!
@@YouAndMeAcademy Thanks, anyway. Eventually, I'll figure it out. Great video, very clear and easy to follow. Keep'em coming. Cheers.

Hey Jonas, send us an email link to your file at hello@youme.academy. We will take a look!
