English Quebeckesr are soooooo different than Canadian anglos. Seriously. Quebec anglos have a hard time when they go into the ROC cause in essence they have a french heart! Lol!. A lot of friends have told me this. En tout cas... vive la difference! Et welcome back à Montreal!
I've only ever heard the opposite. Why would it be hard for an english speaker in a province outside Quebec?
The guy in the video said even when he left, he stayed subscribed to Montreal Gazette, but he couldn't follow Quebec politics because it was so depressing, then he said that it's great that Quebec politics is so interesting. He made a few other contradictions. I'm pretty sure he is in radio, so having lots of divisive topics to talk about is a plus for him. Seems like a nice person, but I won't take his word for it.

The Three Wise Men of the Snowden Deli. Nice to see TD again. I love BC but it should be noted that aside from 1st Nations, the place (especially Vancouver) is ‘younger’, so less old taverns and institutions etc. They haven’t got the history of the East coast.

That’s like Japan for me. Stayed 4 years and found that it’s a country with a bullying and choking culture. And too many perverts. I was lured to Canada because of lake Louise too. But I move to Montreal because of work. I have great neighbours. Quite happy so far. Food scene though not multiple cultural enough yet
Terry is looking great. Welcome home, I’m someone who grew up in the 70’s in Pierrefonds as well. One of the few that never left like so many of my English friends. 🙏
Here is my comment. If someone wouldn't seek to befriend Terry, there's something wrong with them. Such a charming and nice guy. Great discussion.
When I was a student at the University of Sherbrooke, in comparative studies, one of my English literature professors was from Vancouver. He once told me that Vancouver was like a lotus, all its beauty being on the surface, but without roots, unlike Quebec, the language, the culture make it unique in North America. He hoped that we would never lose these assets. Would he be of the same opinion if he still lives with the decline of French throughout Canada today?

It's not true at 24:48, as nationalist I have respect for the long time native english community. The government must make sure to respect your right (more than the french canadien around the ROC ;) ) at the same time if your arrive a month ago and choose to live in Québec you MUST live in french and you have no right to choose english. If english was your choice you should have go to any other part of Canada or US or.,.. not my problem. We won't get assimilate by this process!!!

Mr Demonte concerning university fees! LOL, Here we go again!. Why does French speaking Quebecers have to pay for the education of English speakers from out of province. Honestly! Quebecers paid for the education of thousands of doctors that are practicing in Ontario. Also. where is the French University with cheap fees for French Quebecers in Ontario paid by Ontario Taxpayers. There is no reciprocity in English Canada. we got to stop the gravy train!

I also feel attached to Montreal but refuse to live in town it has been mismanaged and is not the place you remember it is scary
The CAQ has run out of money. Problems are province wide. Road projects halted halfway through completion. Hospitals ceasing operations. Schools not getting promised upgrades. Legault is blaming Trudeau, immigrants, and nurses.
@@trevorchabot864 where did all the tax money go .Seems irresponsible to destroy what took 100s of years to become what was the greatest city in the world. Montreal is similar to all the other out of control cities of the world and it started with the obstruction of fluent moving traffic (bike lanes) by the bad city planning .Why does a bar have a limit of people same should be for cities, just saying that at this pace GOD help us all

How immigrants are more employed, but also less employed, is a mystery to me. Anyway, the math doesn't support the idea that immigrants are to blame for a shortfall of money. And I'm for lowering immigration, just because I hate city sprawl, and I'm not overly fond of people.
