The fact that Kyoko, Madoka, and Sayaka died smiling is a haunting reminder that they tried to bring control to those who didn't know about magical girls and justice against Homura and Kyubey
I can't be the only one who noticed that each of the choruses have different themes. The first one is basically "being meguca is suffereing". The second one focuses on Kyoko. The third one focuses on Homura.
Sayaka always loved Kyosuke, but he never loved her. They were just friends. And because she couldn't declare herself to him, since she was no longer human but a Zombie, she ended up losing him to Hitomi. And even if she stayed with Kyosuke, the two would never be happy together. Gen Urobushi himself confirmed this. And even Hitomi can't be happy with him, as he spends most of his time rehearsing for violin recitals and it makes her very frustrated, as shown in the third film.
Well fuck. Throughout the entirety of its 3 minutes and 33 seconds, I got chills, and towards the end, tears running down my eye. What a mad genius, combining the lyrical elements with such fitting scenes of the anime. And the finale culimnated into a fantastic question - indeed, who is in control? All hail Homura.
Holy.... crap... amazing video and editing! I keep holding off watching this anime because I'm afraid the magic of the insanity presented in these amazing videos will be lost. Or is it really this insane?
Wow I shuddered towards the end of this amv. I've rewatched this so many times, this is one of my fav madoka amvs. It was so emotional it really moved me. 3:11 onward was when it really got intense for me. I loved the clips you chose for the entire vid, it really suit the song and its atmosphere. I enjoyed the clips used to depict Sayaka, Kyoko, and Homura 'losing control', it flowed so well. Homura's gradual descent to devil-hood really shined here since she literally became the devil at the end aha. I also liked how in one part the song goes "who is in control?" and you span to Kyuubey lol.
You did a fantastic job. I felt totally immersed in your vid, and felt somewhat emotional watching this. You can clearly see the theme, and you used the right clips to go with this song and each part.

rebellion in the madoka magica series was actually the 3rd movie the 1-2 movies was a rerun of episodes 1-12 with movie1 featuring 1-5 I think and movie2 features 5-12 rebellion is the final installment

Ok, I'm late to the party, but am I the only one who thought that the "Who is in control?" that plays during the first time Kyubey is shown has a different untertone to the one that plays the second time the focus is on Kyubey? Like, in the first one, it's Kyubey saying it to the magical girls who do not know what their fate is. In the second one, it's Homura saying it to Kyubey after all that happened during Rebellion.
