Great intro. Right to the point. Sometimes you watch people do videos and they’re talking about anything else but what you’re looking to find out. Thank you for taking the time to post this video.👏👏👍
Great detailed Easy to follow video! I was told you had to drive it 100 miles after you clear it for the check engine light to go off. So my daughter drove for 100 miles and the light is still on.
Set the failure code on google and see whats the problem, if its bullshet, remove battery red cable for 1 minute and set it back, it will reset everything, even the clock time
At 2:08 in this video your screen shows "Erase Failure..." We are getting the same message and it is NOT clearing the codes. Were your codes deleted when you got this error?
I have this same scanner. It was throwing a code about an issue with VVT solenoid, which I replaced. I tried using the scanner to erase the codes after fixing, and the check engine light is remaining on 😢
Thank god i took a screen shot of your clear code and i get the same issue ...Erase Failure...turn on key and hit and button....i like the unit but wont release codes 😢
Wish all videos were this straight forward. Thanks.
This is a very handy tool for the price
