It is arguably one of the most well-know battles of the Bible - “Joshua fought the battle of Jericho and the walls came a-tumblin’ down." We often relegate this passage to a Sunday School story and miss the deep lessons of truth that remind us that from beginning to end, God was fighting the battle of Jericho. This account teaches that although the methods and details are vastly different today, God is still a sovereign God of holiness and grace whose presence makes all the difference in our lives and for eternity.
