That's pretty good, my equivalent with dumbells is about 6-7 reps on 25kgs dbs, being seated helps a lot and you also use the chest. Standing ohp with a barbell is only like 55kg for 4 for me.
Yeah good call. I tried one set with the bar. I think it would've been better facing towards the rack but I wanted to set up facing towards the camera.

That’s awesome! Yeah, I think if I stick with the seated press for a while, it will progress. I prefer standing definitely though.
Now we're talkin!! Those are my go to! Keep up the work man!
They felt decent! New movement for me but the shoulders feel ok today! How's that bench press moving along?
@@PATRICKMARCUCCIslow and steady! Gonna try and move into new territory next week, we'll see after tonight!
I like to do mine seated on a flat bench. No back support. I place the J hooks at shoulder level, un rack and start from the bottom on the clavicles.
Thanks for sharing your setup! I don't mind behind the neck unsupported but I've never tried front press like that. Interesting approach
Hell yeah Pat
Thanks Evan! Appreciate the support!
Great session bro
Thanks! Just trying to get the reps in
your chest takes on a lot of weight instead of shoulders, look at cheest movement during the lift human body is an interesting biological machine
You watched the video haha. Chest did all of the work lol. No shoulder recruitment at all
💪💪💪
Thanks Mark!
You look like Matt Damon
I was thinking more like Mark Wahlberg or Seth MacFarlane
Thanks! I've heard the matt damon and mark wahlberg before but never seth haha.
@ You resemble both, but I bet your bank account doesn’t resemble theirs ?
😂😂 absolutely not. No $50 mil mansions around here
Great lifts, get it perfect b4 hand with empty bar Pat,I mess around for ages on machines etc getting it inch perfect.

i think its because I only do 2 rest pause sets per exercise intense that I have to keep unnecessary or incorrect lifts to a minimum.
What was your best ohp? Those were some gnarly btn presses!
Best standing front press is 185x3 and best behind the neck is 190x1 which was two weeks ago actually. Thanks for supporting!
@ what the fuuuck that’s a nutty ratio bro! Much love
you got 5 easy for Shure
Yeah I just couldn't get in the groove haha. Thanks for supporting!
