I recently returned from Vietnam, saw the War Remnants Museum & urge every tourist/ visitor to Vietnam to see this reminder of the war & realise that there is not closure for the Vietnamese people whose children are still being born with deformities - dioxin from agent orange stays in human cells for 3 generations; but they are resilient having won wars against other invaders not only the US & defeated the Khymer Rouge in Cambodia & now welcome peace & visitors to their land - Viva Vietnam!

I am doing an assignment on Vietnam and the amount of bombs dropped on Vietnam is 7,500,000 tons... I worked that out to be 125 tons of explosives per square mile in Vietnam... thats quite sickening

THIS is a one sided and biased video.
there is no mention of the unarmed 170,000 south vietnamese civilians tortured and executed by sino soviet backed communists to terrorize others into supporting the vietcong.
even before america's intervention, ho chi min authorized the liquidation of 4% of the north's total population to terrorize the remainder into submission.
one result was the summary executions of an entire class of farmers comprised of a shooting or bayoneting each farm husband and wife in front of their farm, then blocking up their children inside and burning it all down. this one soviet style pogrom alone killed off a half million civilians.
there is at least a million south vietnamese murdered in revenge for cooperating with u.s. or south government after the south fell and another million dying while trying to flee with their lives.
you won't hear any of that from the current vietnamese government.
