I used to live right next door to a the barrio football stadium and it was madness for hours straight, and so loud with many brawls, and public intoxication, and folks openly going to the bathroom where ever they felt like. I grew up in a town with a lot of Colombians and they would party hard when the Colombian soccer team played and you’d see the jerseys you see on this video too but they didn’t get this dam rowdy. It was actually nice to go out to a bar and see Colombians in their jerseys having a good time.

Craziest ever! Didn't know Columbians are such crazy football fans. Cheers from Kolkata, India. Here, our Derby is between East Bengal and Mohan Bagan. But there is a huge cultural difference though. In India, fans are more responsible and policing is very strict. You don't walk around neighbourhood and blast firecrackers. There are often brawls between fans but all madness are within the periphery of the stadium. @Volpe: I think you have already witnesses one such Derby in Kolkata. The best part of you is how you get indulged with the locals. Appreciate it. Wish you show us more such Derby games around the world.

Ive been talking to this Colombian baddie that i met in Mexico this past August that i had a dope time with. We did exchange numbers and social media and we've been keeping in touch. For a few months now she's been trying to get me a flight tix to Medellin that ive been so adamant about going out there since its crazy A'F but after Volpe's video i might just take that trip soon. I went to one of these games and 2 huge fights broke out, one dude got his face torn up by a knife and several others were bleeding. The stadium also has this weird smell in the walking lanes, like some drug they do over there. It's definitely a cool place to check out but your heads gotta be on a swivel the whole time because sketchy stuff will be happening everywhere!
This is nuts. A traveling street party. I love devoted fandom but that can tilt into the wrong direction quickly without common sense. What a atmosphere, that's a first for me. I can't complain with hanging with the homies, drinking, eating good food and bonding over sports.

I used to travel to Colombia all the time years ago. Lots of kids end up missing finger digits and whole hands due to Fireworks. I've felt the percussion blast from some of these fireworks right through my chest. As big as bombs some of them. I used to stay far back behind parked cars for protection with so many idiots handling explosives they have very little knowledge about. I don't miss some of those events at all. Otherwise amazing country and people. Colombians have a great sense of humor also.

Im Colombian and I agree somewhat with what you say. Our food tends to be pretty basic and the condiments are not too strong. I also don’t like how much fried stuff we eat. However, when it comes to fruits and soups there are just a few countries that compare. There are so many options and flavours not many people have tried.
