  • The REAL Reason Abby Lee Miller Thinks She Was Excluded
Abby Lee Miller, a former Dance Moms star, has revealed that she was not invited to the recent reunion of the reality TV show "Dance Moms" on Lifetime. Miller, who trained a team of young dancers for weekly competitions, believed her former students could not face her due to the show's title. The reunion brought back former stars JoJo Siwa, Chloe Lukasiak, Brooke and Paige Hyland, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, and their moms.
Miller specifically called out the Hyland family, as their mom, Kelly Hyland, was a former pupil. She questioned why the kids returned to her studio at different ages, stating that her studio was the best in town. TODAY.com has reached out to Lifetime for comment on Miller's absence from "Dance Moms: The Reunion."
Furthermore, former "Dance Moms" stars Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler and Nia Sioux did not attend the reunion. Ziegler recalled leaving the show in June 2022 and hasn't spoken to Miller since. Miller shared her side of the story on her RUclips channel, explaining that she tried to quit many times but was forced to return to set because she signed a contract.
Miller claimed that the kids in the original cast never had a contract, but the kids were just there on a handshake.
