  • Bridgerton Goes Miami? Pitbull Reacts to Shocking Music Choice
Pitbull, a Grammy-winning musician, recently expressed his admiration for the use of his song "Give Me Everything" in the final scene of part one of Bridgerton's third season on Netflix. The song, featuring Ne-Yo and Afrojack, showcases how music can transcend boundaries and remain timeless. The scene features Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, who finally profess their love and attraction together in the back of a carriage.
Bridgerton is known for transforming popular songs into orchestral pop covers, with the first half of season 3 featuring covers of Nick Jonas' "Jealous," BTS' "Dynamite," Sia's "Cheap Thrills," Taylor Swift and Lana Del Ray's "Snow On the Beach," and Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever."
Season 3 of the Shonda Rhimes Netflix series focuses on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington's blossoming romance. In February, ET spoke to Coughlan and Newton about their on-screen romance, stating that it was intimidating to step in that mantle of the romantic. Newton echoed her sentiments but credited the ease of getting into the moment thanks to their real-life friendship.
Coughlan said that it was easier to do intimacy scenes or more romantic scenes with a friend, as there was support. He added that their good relationship made it scary but a lot better. Bridgerton season 3 will be released in two parts, with the first part debuting on May 16, and the second part launching on June 13. Each part will consist of four episodes.
