THIS IS A PIGGYBACK FOR MY ORIGINAL REVIEW... After the second attempt to set it up I manually had to set up and it was easy breezy and He did not give an option to save a card for future monthly billing. Yay!! It was so simple and I tested it out with the voice options. Change some of the stuff in the settings, etc. THANK YOU for sharing. 🤩

Device disconnected after 2 days of working perfectly. Have gone through all the steps to try to reconnect and nothing is working now. Tried to log into my account and now it is saying I don't have access anymore. Would love some advice on how to handle this going forward or I'm afraid I'll have to switch it for another brand.
The doorbell itself and if you have the non wired version mine comes out of the plug in wifi adaptor, i hear fuck all as i mix Drum n Bass so just see updates from my phone etc...
I find it concerning that Aosu has not replied to a single comment left on this video since it was uploaded. Can this company really not take the time to reply to a handful of questions from customers? That says something about how the customer service may be if a problem arises.
When i adjust the settings away from home i then dont get any notifications until i switch my chime off then back on. Is there a way around this please

It starts looping once full. I.e recording over what's on there starting from the first saved recordings. I just download to my phone and then upload to computer if needed.

I know there is that little 'tool' thing to release it after clicking it into the mounting bracket, but couldn't anyone with one of those just go around popping off cameras? I'm assuming the little tool is universal for all AOSU cameras. Wouldn't something that locks with a specific key or code be safer?
There is an alarm on it. Also it would record tampering and since the data is in the house you can see who stole it and where they went. Evidence for the police.
Mind you if they cover up their face to do it. It's still fast enough to alert police of the person in the area if you are quick about it. Also usually dumb kids do stuff like this because the camera is bound to the original purchaser the camera is totally useless to anyone else.
Is there a way to increase the focus even rules?! My motion detection range is maxed at 30 feet but the device doesn't even pick up any motion until someone is literally already in front of my door. This defeats the whole purpose of motion detection to alert you. I can stand 10 feet away from the device and it won't even pick up any motion until I'm right in front of the doorbell. Please advise.
Yea i have the same problem. This camera would be excellent if it just picked up motion better. It would be so easy for someone to get away with stealing a package, and not being recorded in time. This doorbell is quite literally garbage.

I purchased this product for several reasons and like it better than the Ring video doorbell system. Is wanting me to use a credit card? I don't intent on purchasing. Nothing extra with this particular product and service. Yet, on the outside of the box it says free. No membership. TOTALLY CONTRADICTING!!! I've talked this one up so much I even have other relatives looking to install one of these at their home. Now I need to look for another video where I can skip over setting up a credit card to use the service. I've already created an account several days ago but this is going to be installed tomorrow... Currently having second thoughts.
That is only if you want the cloud service and not having to worry about erasing recordings stored in the local memory of the device every once in a while. No additional purchases needed to use this device as described.
You need to allow notifications in the app. Then you will receive a notification on your phone similar to how you recieve a normal phone call. You will be able to hear and see the person in front of the doorbell and talk to them should you choose it and then there will be an option to hang up.
In the app choose: 1. Cloud 2. Local There you will find all the videos the door bell camera recoded on the internal memory Beside each video there is a download sign. Click on it and you will download it to your phone gallery (a separate folder will be created specifically for Aosu videos) and then from there you can share it as anything else in your phone gallery.
*Don't get me wrong, I searched all over Amazon comparing everything against my RING doorbell currently installed for something better and I did in fact just buy this as it seemed like the best of all worlds in functionality but why would anyone come out with such a good product and then name it to sound so much like asshole? Well, guess I'm now an asshole customer!*

A Chinese customer who is a repeat customer and I'd consider a friend who speaks little English came over the other day asking me why he's heard us say "Can you Dig It?" Now, first of all he must have been watching a 60's TV re-run because I'm sure he didn't hear that today but I had to explain it didn't mean what it actually sounds like. He had a few others like while driving on the freeway he overheard someone say "This is a bunch of shit"....lol Things like that have got to be funny as hell to others that are new to speaking English.
Ours lasted a couple weeks when I first installed it but I assumed that was from me playing with it all the time. It drains much faster if you're looking at the live feed too. We get deliveries every day too. Lol. I'm charging it now for the first time. Let's see what happens with normal use.
Don't forget to turn off the anti-theft alarm in the app before removing!

i removed the doorbell to add the directional bracket and the alarm has gone off as I must have not removed it properly. How do I turn off the alarm?

The battery won't last a week on a full charge.
It does, if you have loads of twats always setting off the sensor it'll Cain the battery, or you have a faulty batt man.
