- In this video, I will be changing out my stock headlight bulbs for new LED bulbs in my 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
I forgot to mention that the resistor wire location is right underneath your steering wheel, right above your pedals.

Note that the resistor needs to go underneath the dash. That is where those wires are plugged in at for those who do not know
Question; How are the hibeams in DRL mode? do they dim like normal or are they the same brightness as when you turn your hibeams on? i just installed some LED hibeams in my 2010 3.8 they came with a canbus but still have no DRL mode anymore they are just bright af :o
Same problem here, I left mine in halogen for that reason. Did the hid to led d1s for low beam and 881 for fogs all in auxito. VERY Bright
Do you have the part numbers for everything I need? I used your link and amazon hasn't had them in stock for almost a year.
With you cutting the back of the dust caps are you not getting moisture in the headlights?
Surprisingly No. I thought by doing this I would have moisture build up in my headlights. But I've had these cut for over a year now and have had no moisture whatsoever👍

Hmm what headlights are they? Did you try putting a different bulb in?
If I don’t want to make the wires where can I go to buy pre- made wires that will work for that ?

Can you use h1 by auxbeam for low beams on the gene or is it too bright ?
I used H1 bulbs for my high beams, So I am assuming they will be too bright to use for your low beams.👍
H11B bulb would've save you a lot of troubles, not a standard H11

I want to go backwards! The dealership had to change the headlight. The bulb alone at Autozone was $99. You can't change it at home. The dealer charged $120...wtf.

Great video! I tried to install leds on my celica but the fan didnt make them fit so thats sad lol

@@acauto7886 you're welcome, and i was going to but no i didn't, maybe if i try it, they would fit, sucks that on the celica its a clip style thing to hold it in place not like the integra that fits just right, pros to honda on that lol

I was able to shove it in but it baaaarley fit
i wouldnt drill into the back of the cap. Then moisture can get in and ruin your lights
I was scared about this aswell but I've had these for another a year now and have no issues whatsoever. The led lights also need air. And also one of the lights stick out from the back cap so you have to drill out the back so it fits👍
Do you know of any way to make the high beam H1 LED's work without cutting the factory connector off?
If you can find a connector piece that will fit the highbeam connector, then yes you can just splice that to your H1 LED light's wire.

Yes!!! I really want to, but not going to lie, im kind of afriad to heat up my headlights and take them apart lol. Hopefully in the near future👍
Does anyone know what that bracket (silver) with the three screws is called ? I bought some oem lights but it’s missing that piece.

What size is that hole saw you're using for the low beam and high beam cut out?

so the relay is for the switchbacks?
Yes👍. Without the relay, when you turn on your turn signal, they will blink insanely fast lol.
Does the check engine light come on?
Nope, no check engine what so ever👍

The hole is going to push moisture inside the headlights, don’t do that, i’m saying it coz it happened to me

The bulb sizw should be H11B right not H11 lol
The LED bulbs that i bought were H11. Do H11B fit as well?
I searched for the size chart and it says H11B, the only difference of both are the plug on the end.
@@francisvalenzuela9595 yeah, i think the stock one was the h11b. When i installed the h11 led i had to trim down the piece inside the headlight and it fit perfectly.
How about the plug of the H11 does it fit?
