From the moment Texas was down by 3 touchdowns to OK State in 2004 and my father and I looked at each other and realized the game was about to actually start and Texas would come back... from that moment, everything was absolute magic. I get all riled up, because I remember watching that live, almost in tears, because it was the first time i watched my team play for a championship, AND DIDN'T GET DISAPPOINTED. I love this.
i dont get how people can say tebow is better than young... young was freakin insane. he could score from anywhere on the field whether its his arm (just ask OU, specially at 4:06) or its his legs (just ask OSU when he scampered 80 yards untouched for a score)
It pains me to to say this about my sworn enemy, but this is an awesome video. Both OU & UT need to get their shit straighten out, starting owning the Big 12 again and start whipping the SEC in title games. See you in October.

I think the Requiem for a Dream track is far and away the most overused music for football highlight videos (I realize this video is from many years ago), and I've come to mostly hate it, but this video really makes perfect use of it. So well done. The only thing I think would make it better is Keith Jackson's call on the final score. Craig Way's is good -- perfect for radio, but it's a bit too hyperactive for video. This wasn't Jackson's best game by any stretch, but he still staged and called the last score in classic "minimalist" fashion -- something so hard to find these days with commentators who can't stop talking and let the greatness of the moment speak for itself a little.
There are many things I'd change about this video if I could make it over again. That said, I am satisfied on the whole, especially considering I was a freshman in college when this video was made. Truth be told, I had already made this video in my own head for a year+ before the 2005 National Championship season transpired. Numerous times I listened to this song and fantasized about Texas winning the the National Title in heroic and triumphant fashion, overcoming all odds. My dream became reality. The video had to be made.

I've watched this video at least 250 times. I still get goosebumps everytime. That was one of the best seasons in NCAA history.
