I’m impressed to see you used an attachment and a regular drill to do the wet tap. Here in Canada we use a direct tap tool which it’s obviously not needed for PVC mains. Could you tell me the name of that attachment you use to tap the main. Btw, awesome job!
@@fredericduff6391 ah the footage t752 direct tap is the most widely used here in Toronto by contractors but it’s good to see Ford SIMTAP at work. I’m assuming that’s the one used in the video. Thanks for mentioning the other brands, I googled them and as the saying goes, you learn something new everyday. 👍
Make diving rods with brass braising rods and copper tubing for handles been using them for years they have never steered me wrong yet on jobs over 67 years . Good luck 👍 🍀
Heck yea man awesome to see you venture out more and more! We have a large landslide about to get rolling on with regrading and drainage hopefully will be making some equipment purchases soon, what’s your vote the cat’s or bobcats
What’s your wet tap setup? Never seen anyone tap with a battery powered drill before, only with one of those huge drilling machines. I guess it depends on the material though because that drill probably wouldn’t make it through A.C. Or ductile iron pipe
Your videos continue to teach and entertain every time! Bravo 👏 bud
Video on plow fleet stuff and getting ready for the season
It is a great thing to have your game. It would be a great mess if you had hit the main with the bucket.

Both good get which ever brand has better customer service in ur area
Great job as usual
Thank you! Doing our best everyday!
Good work, but do you really trust that dirt?
Old school trick that works well
True!
What did you use to make the tap?
Witching has never led me in the wrong direction unless there's a shallow water table
Same here, it picks up Gas lines and sewer drains as well.
How does that work. It just defies all sense. Every plumber I see does, all say it works but its baffling as to WHY it works.
@@MrKago1 I have absolutely no idea how it works but it's helped me 98% of the time when the locator won't pick it up
Only because you already had an idea of where it was. You couldn’t find a random unknown line
Witching never works for me very frustrating
They prolly used witching sticks lol
That's the way the city works,
You should make more water related videos
I can do that! Been doing a lot of utility work lately!
Definitely more utilities videos!!!💪
Bad ass video
What brand tapping tool is that?

It does just takes longer.
Look up AquaTap or the Reed Feed Tap. But I personally 100% recommend the AquaTap it’s way better. There is a video on here
Just use mark out flags as locators, you'll always have a new one...
Can we see some day in the life vids
I could do that!
👍
Where’s the cookie
Just stress watched this
😂
does someone there need a plumbers license for you to do this type of work?
