    This looks perfect for me, I was holding off due to being a full time capture one user. Definitely more of these videos please Ted 👍🏻

    I have been holding off on Loupedeck for C1, happy to see that it works well! I would love to see a full edit with layers etc

    I have had the Loupedeck CT for 6 months now in the beginning I found it difficult to figure out how to setup it. Once I feigned out how to customize it for my needs it has been a very helpful tool for Photoshop and some other applications. I am glad to see more and more RUclips videos of how other people use them that has also been very helpful, Loupedeck support isn't the greatest so if you are not good at figuring out devices it probably isn't for you.

    love my Loupedeck Live and went to great detail customising mine to work as I do in LR and it’s amazing, looking forward to trying the new Capture One interface.
    You also do a way better job of selling their product, bravo

    How speedy is it to add layers to a photograph and naming them. It looks like the loupedeck is more effective for general editing on one layer and not targetted editing with layers. It is interesting to see more of the possibillities of the loupedeck live in conjunction with Capture one.

    I have a Loup[edeck + which I use as a dedicated Lightroom workflow enhancer. The impact on my workflow was amazing. I've gotten a CT, but found the user interface to be mystifying. This video started it making sense. Thanks.

    No question that this is better than mouse-based editing. But how does this compare with a Wacom Tablet? Given that you're more of a "pen" guy - have you used Wacom?

    This sounded great. So I bought it. What a disappointment! I can only get the knob to work with Exposure (and clicking the knob doesn't reset it - even though it is programmed to do so). I can't get the knobs to work with contrast, brightness, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks... Practically nothing works. I tried it on a PC and laptop; both Windows 10.
    What gives?

      I’ve been told the new update for C1 is only for Mac. Huge bummer

    • @romgostomski1677
      @romgostomski1677 2 года назад +2

      @@lauriewahlig2819 That could explain it. Not good. Although I downloaded the Windows software and the Capture One profile came with it. I am waiting for a reply from Loupedeck support. They are not the quickest. If they don’t resolve it I’m sending it back for a refund.

    • @lauriewahlig2819

      @@romgostomski1677 yes!!!!! Exactly why I returned mine a few months back. It just doesn’t play well with C1! I’ve also written support so MAYBE one of us will hear back!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

    • @romgostomski1677
      @romgostomski1677 2 года назад +1

      @@lauriewahlig2819 Now here’s the thing. There is no API for Windows. The profile uses shortcuts only. It does add a loupdeck-beta shortcut profile to C1 but does not enable it. I found it by chance. Unbelievable that loupedeck would not make this clear. When I enabled it, a lot of things started working. But not all 😠. I did get a reply from loupedeck support eventually, which confirmed what I discovered a few days earlier.
      I stuck with it and totally customised the profile. I shoot a lot of B&W film and edit the scanned negatives in C1. Problem is, everything is backwards. Black is white, darken =lighten, etc. I have created a profile which flips everything around. So everything works the way it should. Brilliant!
      The only thing that I haven’t been able to get to work is to reset the sliders individually with a single click.

      @@romgostomski1677 wow! Thanks for the update. So I guess after all is done, I’d love to know if you find it worthwhile, faster editing etc. I WANT to love it for some strange reason and just so frustrated that the update we need is only for Mac.

    Loupedeck should make a tool for the iPad, even if it was a knob with 4 buttons that way it’d work with sliders and stuff

    Cool innovation. As usual very nice presented, hands on and straight forward. I could imagine that it really has its advantages using the knobs instead of sw sliders with the mouse. However, do you know if it also works on DXO? That is my favorite RAW converter.

    I’ve already been using a surface dial to control sliders - much easier than a mouse - but this is a brilliant input device and so much better than just the dial.

    Does it perform lag free, fullscreen in Lightroom? I had the second model and it was hopeless in fullscreen, completely unusable on a RTX3080 Ryzen 5800x system.

    How do you use it with your “pen”? I imagine the pen with your writing ✍️ hand and your loupedeck with the other.
    Do you place the keyboard in between the two? It would be helpful to actually see real work and workflow; even if such is unique to you seeing that provides a practical and real life presentation. I’m sure you know how to present something like that.
    (*Lastly, though it’s not really the point, My first advice would be to get a mouse that supports your hand/body. That’s low hanging fruit solution in a well-developed ergonomic design realm).

    Interesting. You've certainly piqued my curiosity. Since the pandemic, I've found myself doing a lot more editing on my MacBook Pro (as opposed to my iMac with a Wacom Intuos) on my lap while stretched out on the couch. I'd love to see more of your workflow using the Live, so that I can get a better feel for how it might integrate into my own.

    I might be missing the whole section entirely, but just in case anyone would be able to help-I'm looking for the tools in my Loupedeck Live software where I can add C1's Color Editor tools. I've gotten my Color Balance section all set, but I'd love to be able to use my Loupedeck to edit the HSL of all the colors. Can't seem to find the tools to make this happen-help if anyone has fixed this problem or please direct me in the right direction! Thank you in advance.

    I'm sure it's a great product but 'Essential'??? Capture One's own Speed Edit feature combined with the ability to remap all the keyboard shortcuts means the LoupeDeck just isn't as useful to C1 as it is to LR.
