Impresive. I have been contemplating purchasing the Loupdeck+, kinda glad I did not push the purchase button, but may need to sit on it a little while as this is both miles better, but equally more costly.
I have Loupedeck 1&2. Both excellent for my LR workflow. This version will definitely fit the desk area better and is definitely a major step up. I will give it some serious thought.
Loupedeck CT can also work simultaneously with Loupedeck+ and the Original Loupedeck. :)

Would be awesome to have the CT but I just bought the Loupedeck + a couple of months ago. Loving it and I would probably love this one even more. I would be able to remove my Elgato stream deck that I use for editing too. Have a merry Christmas all of you over at Loupedeck.

Re switching out a streamdeck for this - you most definitely won't be able to do that. It doesn't launch apps (says it can, but doesn't) - I have setup some automations using osx automator and those can't be triggered either... there's no way to tap into lighting control, or any streaming software... it's sad, but it's definitely not a stream deck. :(
Intriguing. I use 3dsmax, Photoshop, Premiere and Propellerhead Reason. I have to look more into this device.
Loupedeck CT also allows you to create your own custom shortcuts and user-actions (aka macros) with our keyboard record feature. Soon you will be to create your own plugins with 3rd party software that Loupedeck doesn't natively support!

As a separate question. Is there a way to set up command shortcuts for Apple Home commands for other smart items that turn on and off?
You can use Loupedeck CT and Live with any application by creating a custom profile, where you map keyboard shortcut and mouse commands to the console. So if the application that you would use to control these smart items has keyboard shortcut commands, you can use those on the Loupedeck!
just received the CT for FCPX and love it! For the life of me though, after watch all the videos I could find and scanning the manual, I can't figure out how to navigate from the timeline window to the browser window so I can select favorites etc and drop on storyline. Also, if I have multiple layers in my storyline, how do I navigate up and down? And into the effects, titles, transitions, generators panels?
We have not predefined this like in earlier LD+ default but you can assign it to any button with press function. Actions are called e.g. Go To Timeline
Hi Loupedeck, I just got my Loupedeck CT today and I can't figure out how to make main wheel dial (not the touch screen) as volume control or anything else, my system is windows 10. Please answer my question. Thanks.
Hi there,
Please open the Setup app and choose the System / Windows in the Applications list. Then highlight the main wheel and add a new one with the Plus sign in the right column. Then in the left column, search for Volume (make sure the Rotation tab is selected) and drag and drop the Volume on the Main wheel.

can the buttons be reprogrammed as shortcut or macro keys for use and general day to day functions when not in say lightroom.. similar to an elegato streamdeck?
Yes they can. You can pretty much customize everything on this console! We just suggest before doing so you get to know how to edit using the defaults, then do whatever you want!

Can you add custom touch button images? I would like to use those custom buttons for color labels in premiere....I would love to add the colors of the labels as the buttons. You can create and add any image to the button display on the stream deck. Wondering if this similar here. Thanks!!

Adobe Premiere stopped working with my Loupedeck CT. My other Adobe programs still work with it, but for some reason AP doesn't. I tried restarting my computer, reinstalling the software, redid the device control in AP, but nothing worked. Any tips?

Hello, We would love to integrate with DaVinci, however BlackMagic is currently more focused on their own editing controller and have not expressed any greater wish to co-operate with us. Hopefully this situation will change in the future.

If I bought this it would be for Adobe cc sure, but also a great deal of use in Maya, Toonboom, tvpaint, and protools. Can I use it for that?

You guys should make a version that works with the ipad
I literally just started using it.. I bought it cpl years ago and it was just sitting in the box brand new so i just opened it up right now and want to implement it into my workflow and its insane how crazy difficult it is to adjust. That clock wont dissapear from the wheel and every time I close the clock the settings change and when I hit the clock, the timer comes up and I have to close it but the settings switch up/off again and its back and forth. I mean its crazy in how difficult it seems so im looking up videos to see how to overcome this after I had a huge problem first not being able to turn it on cause it was just the power button was lit blue for a few seconds and went off and no matter what I press it just wouldnt do anything or be recognized by the computer and program so I read on your site to do this and that and guess what, it was the VPN... I mean, insane! This thing can drive you crazy.
good f-ing job. You guys really knocked it out the park with this one. This is a purchase I can justify, lol. - Y’all should get it into the hands of primary tech reviewers like: Marques Brownlee (aka MKBHD), Unbox Therapy, and meteoric rising creatives like Peter McKinnon.

Is the Loupedeck compatible with the Cybelink PowerDirector software?
We don't have a native integration for it, but you can use Loupedeck CT and Live with any application by creating a custom profile, where you map keyboard shortcut and mouse commands to the console.
Is this possible to use with Lumafusion? And if not, are there any plans to support it?

Yes, they can work together at the same time. Loupedeck CT is content aware so you can either operate them together or you can easily switch between the two.
Would love to see davinci resolve support considering it's am actual pro software compared to premier and final cut....

@@Loupedeck will it allow me to map mouse clicks and cursor positions (absolute and relative, ie +1 px)? I mapped a midi controller and it works fine in resolve even without using their sdk.
also: what about the affinity photo/designer/publisher apps? blender? fusion? :)
I ordered one already, but it does not officially support a single app I use yet.

I just bought Loupedeck and love it, however I have 1 problem. I only have Lightroom 3, is there a way to use Lightroom 3 and have it as effective as the Lightroom classic? I tried it and it will not work, and I am sorry, I wont rent a software if I cannot buy it.
Hi, the Loupedeck software is always compatible with the latest version of Lightroom Classic. While an older version of our software does support Lightroom 6, Lightroom 3 is unfortunately not supported. More information here: support.loupedeck.com/lightroom-support

It is currently in testing and planning to have it ready and tested by the end of March!

@@DoubleD72 Actually the Blue Tooth capability is already built into the console. We will be launching a software update possibly in March so you can have better Blue Tooth experience.

My ct arrived yesterday and will return to sender tomorrow. The firmware update doesn’t work (0.0.8 delivery to 0.1.73 automatic request). Support cannot help, says: „we know, that it sometimes takes several attempts to get the deck started. Try to ....“. No, I am very disappointed, after such a nice feeling when opening the box. The developers still have definitely to do a lot of work to fix problems and make the hardware and software better.
Make it compatible with all DAWS. Your missing a huge untapped market. I want to make it work with fl studio. Is it possible to create customization profiles for fl studio?
You can create Custom Profiles for any software you wish!
Guys you need to add DaVinci Resolve to this. I know they have their own consoles but your price point will make it a no brainer for those of that use DR.

You teased the ability to export settings but didn't show us how to do it. Could you please provide that info?
Hi there, the UI has changed quite a lot since the release of this video. If you want to export profiles in the new UI, navigate to the profiles drop-down menu, and click on the three dots next to the desired application. This will open a list of all your profiles for the said application, and now you can click on the three dots next to the profile to export it.

@@Loupedeck When I touch "Alt+Tab" it scrolls the screen down to a new panel of icons...but I can't find how to access that screen in the LD App in order to modify it. I can only get there from the touch screen itself. How do I get to the Alt+Tab screen on the App?

finish editing in Photoshop, Audition, etc and close those programs out, my LD CT remains in the mode of whatever program I was just using.
How do I set it (or create a button) so it will take me back to the primary Windows OS default mode and I can use it in Chrome or other programs...without having to open the LD App and choose that manually?

You can find our Capture One -profile in the Loupedeck application, more info about the integration here: support.loupedeck.com/capture-one-beta-integration. The easiest way to access the full list of ready-made actions for Loupedeck CT and Live is to create a new default profile. We also made a RUclips tutorial a year ago: ruclips.net/video/ci5H0-CKMFU/видео.html. However, our software has since evolved quite a lot so it looks and works a bit differently now.

Not yet but we might look into more DAW's as development progresses

Black Magic is NOT going to add support for this product. they offer their own hardware similar to this. which is the only thing that sets you apart from the free version of Resolve. the pro version supports their hardware board. so why would they add support for this? so people can NOT want to buy their hardware? at least this thing is cheaper then the Resolve hardware. but still WAY over priced. you can't watch a single review of this product without noticing the comments of EVERYONE complaining how they would buy this if it was cheaper. $550 is ridiculous. at a maximum this product should be $199. they would sell like hotcakes. sadly there is far more people who would love to have this then there is actual people buying it. Loupedeck knows this too.

No. it is USB C on this device end. yet the Loupedeck guy responded saying yes. only for you to buy it and notice it is C to A. that shouldn't matter but I am pretty sure this guy was wanting to plug it into a USB-C port is why he was asking. other then having USB-C on this product end really is pointless.

Not until the Loupedeck CT is cheaper then an Ipad. lol you have any idea how ridiculous that is. you can get an iPad cheaper then this product. If you are editing on an iPad this is way too much money for you.
There has been many, and much conversations about how this work with Ableton Live, but now has take the time to do / make a video to show has this works with ( ** ADOBE AUDITION **… but you have it on your site that It does, why is the focus such on just Ableton. Loupdeck needs to jump on to Davinci Resolve 16 studio for video editing and Skylum photo editing programs Luminar 4 just like the company Tangent dose with Black Magic DaVinci Resolve 16 and Studio.
We would love to integrate with DaVinci Resolve, however we need the API from Black Magic Design to make this happen.
@@Loupedeck So Black Magic shared their connectivity with Tangent Company so all of there consoles work with Davinci Resolve 16 and the studio version both. So when will the Skylum software work with all the LoupeDeck devices?

@@Loupedeck Hey there thanks for the reply - I doubt you can do anything - it's how LR processes Fuji RAW files - I do mine in Fuji XAcquire and then swap across to LR/PS etc- if you don't do this you have to spend a lot of time fixing all sorts of sharpness issues and wotnot to get the best out of them. And even more prominent with GFX files. I occasionally use Capture One - but regardless of all that you make incredible products which simplify the process so much, and they look cool and they are easy to use. Fuji should let the leash out a bit more on their proprietary systems as others do then perhaps these issues would not occur - have a super day

They are both great, it really depends on your personal workflow and what you are looking for in a console.
A ton of talk but not showing how much or in what way it can be customized. Arbitrary titles of actions in a list... Sooo can I program buttons to macros, claw key style shortcuts, or open a autohotkey macro? Being a producer who works in the audio rhelm I would have bought two of these at launch if it had any Pro Tools support... So far it looks like Stream Deck is a less ideal but more functional solution. Super limited support of software and beautiful hardware...
Loupedeck CT is entirely customizable. You can even make your own custom shortcuts and macros within any supported software. Please see our software specific tutorials for a deeper look into how you can customize your own console.

@@Loupedeck Adding support for Resolve would seriously open up the market for you, thus add competition for Blackmagic Design. I can understand why they may be reluctant, but I can't justify the price of Loupedeck strictly for my use with Premiere Pro. Many people have abandoned Premiere for editing video within Resolve, so I hope you are able to connect with that market. Good luck!
Not having davinci resolve support speaks volumes of your opinion of competing companies against apple products, let me guess, you have exclusive distributorship agreement with Bapple. SO sad all this great hardware, being limited by sales agreements and strong-arm tactics by apple to keep it that way. I would buy if it had resolve support. SCREW APPLE
This a most definitely NOT a "Getting Started" video. I currently very much regret buying my Loupedeck. It seems like you guys think your user guides are at the 101 level and they are really at the 401 level.

@@Loupedeck and they are not tutorials either, just a quick run though at lightning speed, I also am beginning to wish i'd not bothered if this is the level of support you offer..
We appreciate your feedback, and understand that the software can be confusing at first due to the amount of options and functions. In addition to a slower tempo, is there something else you'd like to see in future tutorials?
@@Loupedeck a step by step approach, specifically aimed at one application (say, Lightroom) and not a whirlwind rush through. Make a use case, explain the startup procedure and configuration steps after explaining what's already defined and what it can do. Also, revise the videos that are already out there (in your name..) which don't reflect the current software. Also, I'd like to be notified if there is a new software release, which solved a few problems in my case. You actually have a really good quality hardware product, with arguably good software, it's not the simplest to use, but it's a complex area, you just need to make a series of tutorials that explain correctly how to use it efficiently. I speak as a software product owner..
