This was not a Soundcheck. This was an improvised recording session to cut the bonus that were edited into the US Special. There are several takes of this one available on DVD.
@@hollies65 He also didn't wear jumpsuits for soundcheck or even had a soundcheck. The only known soundcheck is a day before the rehearsal concert for the Aloha, that he actually did a line check. This video is not from a soundcheck, as mentioned by Georgia, right after the Aloha concert was over, the crowd left the arena, and Elvis came back to record a few songs that would be used on the TV Special for the US broadcast. This was after the show, around 3am. But anyways, it's not the definitive version as he also recorded this one in the studio in 1971.

I enjoy more closing my eyes and imagine myself on the 60s south east of USA I am from Peru and grow hearing Elvis music there I was 5 years old and now I am 50 years old and living in Atlanta. for me no singer is or was better than Elvis
gives me vibes when i have go have coffee and looking out at window at a rainy morin'
Amazing. The definitive version of this great song is a soundcheck by Elvis. One of the most melancholy performances ever. Total greatness.
This was not a Soundcheck. This was an improvised recording session to cut the bonus that were edited into the US Special. There are several takes of this one available on DVD.
@@GeorgiaOverdrive It's a soundcheck. Elvis did not wear that stuff to recording sessions.
Nice version here but definitive? Have you listened to George Hamilton IV’s version? ruclips.net/video/V3Y7EzXwYMQ/видео.html
@@nottavictim5 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Elvis sings this perfect. I loved him so much.
