    I love how you enjoy traditional Khmer food. Most Khmer kids growing up in America don't even like eating traditional Khmer food at all. I'm glad that you are keeping the tradition alive.

    Hi Ming! When u ready u put out side or in refrigerator?     Thank you! Love it! My dear mother added diced galangal and long pieces of papaya. Whenever I ate pa ok I would always go for the sour crunchy papaya first. Yummy! Thank you so much for your videos. I love your Ma. :)

    I finally made this after a long wait! Its really good. I thought it would stink after fermenting for so long but it didnt. I guess the salt and toasted rice helped it from smelling. Thx

    man that looks so delicious, i tried to make this before the same way she showed us how to make it but it didn't turn out so good,it went bad in about 2 to 3 weeks.

    I don't know if you take requests but does your mon have recipes for amok trei (fish) or kaw trei with catfish? I would love it you could share those recipes of she does.

    Are you talking about the paste or the sauce itself? If its the sauce. Use a teaspoon of shrimp paste, a pinch or 2 of msg, as many dried crushed chili you want about 3x the amount of shrimp paste usually and add water. I find that it taste better if the dried chili is roasted and then crushed.

    You can use any fish you prefer. You can also do this with other types of meats such as pork. We'll have a video on that later.

    You can do this without MSG. And, for many people who want to know why some people stay away from MSG is that over time, the accumulation of MSG in bone will cause the bone to become weaker. This will cause your bone to be fragile as you get older.
