I actually found Zoom to be pretty scary in this scene. The crazed look on Jay's face really shows his obsession with stealing speed and becoming the fastest alive, even if that means taking another speedster. Teddy Sears nailed it.
I love how Teddy Sears hadn’t played Zoom in 3 years at this point and had only a couple of seconds of screen time, yet felt exactly like how Zoom should be at that point in time. It’s as if they filmed this while they filmed Season 2.

No actor could’ve matched zoom on the outside. Seeing Teddy play zoom was great because we knew teddy as this kind hero and when he was zoom he took a complete 180, if you go back and watch some scenes you’ll see he pulled it off pretty well. In his scenes he always seemed creepy and like something was really messed up with him, I think teddy pulled it off
He did notice that he wants Nora speed so he can get faster but XS likes her speed zoom know who that guy is he still the some Barry Allen but he a lot faster than zoom savitar and reverse flash flash a lot faster then him so that he couldn’t catch up so zoom knows too much so he get to go again.

This episode was fantastic, however I cant't help but believe that they opened a window for a Zoom return in the future because of how they handled this. I wish we saw new scenes of Savitar, though. Hopefully we will in the future although I won't hold my breath.

Seeing Zoom brings back memories of Season 2. I remember when speculation was running wild about Zoom's identity (Earth-2 Wells, Earth-1 and Earth-2 Hunter Zolomon, Henry Allen, Earth-2 Wally West) Season 2 was a great time for the Flash. All the other seasons have been great, but Season 2 was when Flash started to take its first risks and all of the great world-building: 1. opened up the multiverse and alternate Earths 2. Grodd finding Gorilla City 3. Barry "meeting" the Speedforce for the 1st time 4. Vibe AND Killer Frost learning about their powers 5. introducing Wally West AND Supergirl's Earth 6. beginning the fun tradition of Tom Cavanagh playing alternate Wells 7. Finally Henry Allen was declared innocent! 8. Flashpoint (I know Season 3 may have been a letdown, but the hype was still real back then) 9. Famous Barry disappearing scene from Crisis, was shown in the finale 10. Killer Shark! 11. and thankfully, we saw the return of Reverse Flash Season 2 was kind of underrated, I think it did amazing things for expanding the world of the Flash!
Barry's heroic instinct and father instinct in the same scene, it's just the best ! he positioned himself in front of Nora to protect her and when Zoom considered Nora, Barry put his arm in front of her immediately. in his eyes, you can see "DON'T TOUCH HER".
My only complaint about this episode is the I wish that zoom was used more he’s one of my favourite villains on the shows and wanted to get more of him
Sam Lung I had this convo with my friend 2 years ago and we both came to the conclusion that Wells S1 is faster. Barry couldn’t even catch up in S1 & didn’t really defeat him. Technically we haven’t really seen Reverse Flash’s true power.
I think the only reason zoom was able to catch up to present day Barry is because Barry wasn’t wearing his suit, thus preventing him from running as fast as usual. His clothes and shoes would just burn off :P or, maybe, just plot hole ._.

I feel like zoom is going to return because it looked like when the time wraith pushed him, he was pushed into a different time. Hopefully he does return because he is my favorite character in the whole show!⚡️
For those reading I would also like to point out that if zoom does retain his memories then that incident will play a part of something bigger in the future.
Even if it is a time remnant it doesn’t matter. If one of Zooms time remnants just disappeared he would know something is wrong and it would alter the timeline.
What is really surprising is that zoom was still able to keep up with Barry even though it was stated that in season four he was the fastest of all speedsters.

This is my theory: When Zoom got grabbed by the time wrath, he got thrown back into his original time. He could deduct that the Barry he saw was Barry from the future, which is why he was so scared of Barry even after stealing his speed, and why Zoom also figured out that Star labs was trying to restore his speed just by looking at the lightning

I don't think that Barry would have put some regular clothes on knowing that he was gonna go back in time(and that would mean encountering time wraiths that would be on your ass), specially if he knew that there might be the possibility for his regular clothes to burn off(why not just put your frictions proof suit on,I mean come on). I just think that zoom is a lot faster than what people thought previously as it is clearly shown in this episode.

I freaked that that Zoom was back and I was hyped. My best scene was the speedster chase between Barry, Nora, and Zoom. I wish it can happen again some day.
I think the time wraith took the version away who ran after them and then the speed force restored the right version back into the time it was supposed to be. By right version i mean the zoom who didnt experience nora and barry .

Zoom should definately make a comeback. This is one of those shows where the old villains could come back and do another cycle and I wouldn't mind. Hell, Reverse flash is and thats amazing, but I could use some more zoom in my life.

Seeing Zoom brings back memories of Season 2. I remember when speculation was running wild about Zoom's identity (Earth-2 Wells, Earth-1 and Earth-2 Hunter Zolomon, Henry Allen, Earth-2 Wally West)
Season 2 was a great time for the Flash. All the other seasons have been great, but Season 2 was when Flash started to take its first risks and all of the great world-building:
1. opened up the multiverse and alternate Earths
2. Grodd finding Gorilla City
3. Barry "meeting" the Speedforce for the 1st time
4. Vibe AND Killer Frost learning about their powers
5. introducing Wally West AND Supergirl's Earth
6. beginning the fun tradition of Tom Cavanagh playing alternate Wells
7. Finally Henry Allen was declared innocent!
8. Flashpoint (I know Season 3 may have been a letdown, but the hype was still real back then)
9. Famous Barry disappearing scene from Crisis, was shown in the finale
10. Killer Shark!
11. and thankfully, we saw the return of Reverse Flash
Season 2 was kind of underrated, I think it did amazing things for expanding the world of the Flash!
Barry's heroic instinct and father instinct in the same scene, it's just the best ! he positioned himself in front of Nora to protect her and when Zoom considered Nora, Barry put his arm in front of her immediately. in his eyes, you can see "DON'T TOUCH HER".
I love the way Barry was being a protective dad by running just behind Nora. He wasn’t about to let crazy zoom get his child!
My only complaint about this episode is the I wish that zoom was used more he’s one of my favourite villains on the shows and wanted to get more of him

Sam Lung I had this convo with my friend 2 years ago and we both came to the conclusion that Wells S1 is faster. Barry couldn’t even catch up in S1 & didn’t really defeat him. Technically we haven’t really seen Reverse Flash’s true power.

I think the only reason zoom was able to catch up to present day Barry is because Barry wasn’t wearing his suit, thus preventing him from running as fast as usual. His clothes and shoes would just burn off :P or, maybe, just plot hole ._.

@@calmsquirrel7124 We all know that the series has a lot of script holes and is very poorly written, but the suits thing is explained since season 1, every suit they make for barry is so he can increase his speed, savitar also explains that his armor is so he can go the speeds he goes and without it his own body would burn out.

Felt so good to see zoom again. I know that s1 is probably the most popular season among fans but s2 has always been my favorite season so far.
I feel like zoom is going to return because it looked like when the time wraith pushed him, he was pushed into a different time. Hopefully he does return because he is my favorite character in the whole show!⚡️

I remember when I found out that Zoom was coming back in this episode, I'll be honest this isn't what I was expecting but I won't deny that this scene was pretty good

That scene of zoom chasing Nora and Barry is epic and evergreen. It'll never get old. It's one of the best scenes from the entire series.⚡
This is my theory:
When Zoom got grabbed by the time wrath, he got thrown back into his original time. He could deduct that the Barry he saw was Barry from the future, which is why he was so scared of Barry even after stealing his speed, and why Zoom also figured out that Star labs was trying to restore his speed just by looking at the lightning
Can we talk about Barry backing into Nora and protecting her when Zoom showed up? It’s such a quick sequence but it just shows that Barry is the best protective father ❤

The Flash Barry Allen AKA Savitar I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to disagree(although it is somewhat convincing as it makes sense). I don't think that Barry would have put some regular clothes on knowing that he was gonna go back in time(and that would mean encountering time wraiths that would be on your ass), specially if he knew that there might be the possibility for his regular clothes to burn off(why not just put your frictions proof suit on,I mean come on). I just think that zoom is a lot faster than what people thought previously as it is clearly shown in this episode.
sad that fans have to come up with the reasoning of why Zoom caught up. If that was the case he could have grabbed her and ran himself lol. They've been pretty inconsistent with the speed and that's okay for the plot I guess. Zoom is badass either way

@@trashsombra2793 a speedster running is being protected the charges in the speed force but that because of the suit he is wearing allows him to go as fast as he wants I mean look at premier of season 4 Barry is freaking naked and he was wearing a suit and tie when he when into the speed force and now look at him when he came back from the speed force all of his clothes were gone and he was vibrating at the highest frequency too the friction burned all those clothes and it's been proven by one of the writers I think I heard Barry explain that it takes certain amount of speed to have friction have a full effect on you or something I will have to look through the seasons to find it Barry can't go at full speed plus he has to protect his daughter too

I think the time wraith took the version away who ran after them and then the speed force restored the right version back into the time it was supposed to be. By right version i mean the zoom who didnt experience nora and barry .
