@@arya8214 So why would you say "why would you want to be something youre not?" That idea is so toxic for so many reasons. Its the most classic excuse for putting down women or men who want to better themselves. Not everyone is satisfied with what they already are, and thats OKAY. The terrible idea of using "be yourself" to encourage people not to aim for something better that doesnt come naturally to them is what's kept me and so many others down for so long. Asking why someone wants to change just shows you dont really know how to do it yourself. I hope you learn how.

Ladies as a woman in her 30’s, these tips go a long way. As dark skin women we have to work harder to dispel the “angry black woman” stereotype. So being feminine and tapping into your feminine energy will only benefit you. For those on a budget i suggest you invest in Afterpay. Everyone’s having sales, so start with the sales and clearance sections so you can get more bang for your buck. You can revamp your closet on the cheap and fast. Also get off of Instagram and get on Pinterest for outfit ideas. Instagram is for popularity. You don’t want to look like everyone else. Before this nonsense i went to Pinterest every night for outfit ideas. Putting time and thought into how i dress makes me prouder of my appearance.

That is self respect. When you are truly comfortable and proud of how you look is how you foster self love. If you’re doing you; nothing is off :)

The comment about who gets more attention. When I was a little younger I actually used to notice that those cool sporty girls always got more attention and had the cute boyfriend or everyone had a crush on her. I now realize it was because those guys were young and loved the idea of being with a girl that was like his “bros”. I used to feel like I had to be more sporty chic myself because of that.
Now I would still rather be feminine over anything else because at least I know I would be attracting “real men” not someone that wants a girl to play video games with 😂

MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY READ: I can honeslty testify to this whole video. Born and rasied a muslim (still am), I wasn't given the option to wear larger jewelry or shorts etc. Dresses and more "modest clothing" was my wordrobe. When I hit puberty I had a huge tomboy rebel faze where I would wear jordans etc. to feel more accepting around those at school. Around senior year of highschool i completely came out of that. I was always a dressy girl at heart regardless of my religion. When I started college i always wore and wear heels dresses (more so sweater style dresses) longer coats with nice clean cuts. Long skirts yet fit just the way they need to. Occasiaonly to give my feet a rest I would wear pumas or sneakers( ONLY BECAUSE I AM A BALLET DANCER...lol my feety get inured a lot). I would personally never wear a loud colored coat as it just simply doesn't fit my personal style. I was blessed to be taught by my mother and other older women around me in my youth the beauty of the form and how to use it. I was taught how to tailor my clothes to fit my body shape accordingly. I was taught the best clothes to wear and things to stay away from. NOW FOR THR REAL TESTIMONY! I have had men (grown men in college 36-40) tell me when I come in room they feel they need to stand up. I have had younger college boys athletes etc tell me they feel the need to make way when I come through. NOW LADIES THIS IS NOT JUST HOW I DRESS, THIS IS A MINDSET THAT YOU NEED TO CARRY. dressing different won't necessarily attract a better man, yet it can help. Change your cheap mindset and your cheap and vulgar ways will change too.... not being rude. I have heard people correct other people in front of me if they said something wrong...mind you some of these people were strangers to me. I have had girls tell others to stop cursing when I am in the elevator because I am there. Dudes are scared lifeless to talk to me and have told me I am very intimidating and come off very grown and not for the b.s just by my looks and how I carry myself.

And where do you buy really good quality feminine clothes? Do you know any brands that are non fast fashion?

@@parvatychery7073 IF YOUR WILLING TO READ ALL THIS LOL.....I am so flattered and honored to give some amazing tips and advice that I have learend. The first step to my mindset transformation was understading what it means to be a woman. These crusty, dusty, musty men lol will literally make you other than yourself. Surround yourself with women who think similar. FORGET BEING A "BAD BITCH" lol that's not going to cut it.The art and beauty of feminity is more than just showing cleavage and always getting your nails done. Feminity is another side to god that we as women have been blessed to attain. THE BIGGEST THING TO STOP DOING IS GET RID OF THESE TRENDS. In the name of god there is nothing worse that says lack of true character than following trends. Throw out those fashionova followers and trends that nearly every women follows. I will say men have a lot to do with what women like thesedays but honeslty damn them lol....atleast the bummy ones. I remeMber coming to school one day and seeing that nearly every girl looked exaclty the same jordans, eyelashes, crop top, wigs. Now there isn't anything horrible about these things but come on lets give it a break. Find out the kind of colors that contour your your face the clothes that contour your form regardless of your shape. Get some hobbies and I dont mean installing wigs. Personally I decided to play piano about 8 years ago and it has giving me the ability to do many things. I was also gifted with amazing artistic skills (drawing, painting).Study a new language. These subtle hobbies will already make you out of everyones league. I COULD NEVER SETTLE WITH HAVING A PRETTY FACE AND NO TRUE TALENTS OR CHARACTER. Most of these instagram models have nothing to offer and that is exaclty why they attract men who have nothing to offer but their bodies. Now as far as clothes brand slike zimmerman, max mara, or loft are good places. They are a little expensive so I recon starting offf small. Shein actually has very decent clothes just try to not to buy antyhing under 30 dollars. They have decent peices that can be put together well. Try zara or fancy clothing stores downtown that most people arent overhyping. Try to refrain from boisterous loud clothing like highlighter green hair or clothing. Find the colors that work best on your skin. Neat hair is always key along with neat modest nails and colors. HUGE DEAL GET YOUR OWN PERSONAL SMELL. STOP WEARING VS OR BATH AND BODY WORKS LOLLLL. So many girls wear these. Find your own personal sent that you can be identified as. I personally wear chanel and versace perfrumes just a classy little detail about myself.

TIP: I reccomend pairing these femininity videos with technical videos about color, shape, and technique. Alexandras Girly Talk is one that has really helped. She breaks down how to dress down to the details like shade. For example, when Miss Feminine says to wear florals, nudes, pinks, I can take that information and then go to a channel like the one I listed. In a video, she explains how shades impact the color you wear. That helps me pinpoint what kind of pinks, nudes, and florals will compliment my skin

I'm in my early 20's, and in my teens, I always felt bad about myself cause my friends would always get attention from guys. No one ever liked me. I definitely believed that sexy=showing more skin. But the few times I wore revealing clothing, whether for a birthday party or a night out with my girls, I felt SO uncomfortable. I didn't feel sexy and I got unwanted attention.
I'm older and more aware of myself now, and definitely feel sexier and more confident when I'm covered. Wearing high quality clothing that fits right does a lot more for my confidence than wearing super short-shorts and crop tops. But no judgement to anyone who does feel confident like that. It's just not me.

I feel like femininity is more a vibe than a way of dressing. I feel like we can go too far with trying to look perfect all the time and we end up actually constricting our feminine energy because were not actually feeling comfortable and free in ourselves. At the end of the day i feel like what you feel personally comfortable AND beautiful in that is also effortless is how to feel the most feminine. Nice video. But I also think there's no standard of beauty, am not being negative ❤️people dress how they Wana express themselves and it works for them. There's nothing wrong with wearing sweat pants, it's actually cute. U gotta know that people have a lot insecurities in themselves and when u promote anything regarding a women👑= cover all insecurities but when you point out things that make other women feel less about themselves just cs they wear long pink wigs 'not that I wear them'= it doesn't elevate you as a women at all...this ain't a competition, it's about being dominant (so be you) Wear however u Wana wear❤️ and stop making such women feel less cs they ain't feminine... Ferminity is about an aura, your presence and if u get intimidate by such in life then what's your value of being a women? I belong in all categories =faminine, sweat pants, chilled clothes, sexy clothes, rag clothes cs am human and a women of all beauties... And I love all women regardless of what they wear or their past! ❤️ they are still women who deserves to be loved, crowns of this nations. Clothes does not define beauty=not that we should be wreckless/careless but rather build/teach women than making famininity a trend to crush other women.

At 3:27, I feel like it matters what a girl wears, but if she has a style then thats her style. A guy will like a girl for her attitude, personality, and yes appearance. But if you just have appearance with a soft little voice.... then the girl who has all three key factors will get the guy. I personally love the 90s baggy tlc look, but I also love the Aaliyah and Beyonce feminine look and I can pull off both. I just feel like maybe make a video on how to improve your personality and attitude along with appearance. ✨ ❤️

Bonolo Nkokou Femininity = having qualities or an appearance traditionally associated with women, especially delicacy and prettiness. This channel is spreading her version of femininity in terms of physical appearance and inner qualities. You can be a woman and be masculine and there is nothing wrong with that. She is just promoting feminine women. Masculine = having qualities or appearance traditionally associated with men, especially strength and aggressiveness. Being a women doesn’t automatically mean you are in touch with your femininity. A lot of women prefer to be more masculine in terms of the way they dress and how they carry theirselves. This channel is here to help the women who want to be more feminine. If you guys don’t agree with it or don’t want it for yourselves, exit the video. If it doesn’t apply let it fly.

I like this video and I am on my own feminine journey myself, but some of these tips are a bit...eh. Like the comment about "throw away all your cheap bags from fashion Nova and invest in designer", well not everyone has the luxury of spending money on expensive things; I'm a college student who supports myself and pays for most of my schooling out of pocket. I spend money for my own pleasure maybe twice a month and it usually doesn't go over $150, if that. I know its possible to save up money towards a material investment, but designer items have never been on top of my priority list. If something looks nice to me, I'll get it...I don't care about whose name is on it. Shoot, one of my favorite purses I got for $35 a Target, 2 years ago, lmao. Also, I think it's okay to be feminine yet relaxed sometimes; running to the store or gas station doesn't necessarily call for putting on your tightest dress and a full face of makeup.

I still get compliments on my natural hair they say with my high cheekbones I can rock anything but idk it makes me not want to talk to those men . They are so shallow . There is this one guy there that likes me with anything I wear . He is a supervisor and very much married . Very inappropriate and makes nasty comments towards me . Old enough to be my dad ugh .

Hey girl Im from Jamaica too! Start with staple pieces! A white cotton button up blouse, dark jeans without rips or acid wash and a nice biege point toe sandals! You can check out brit bran, sovereign and payless for these items! Less is more! Start with basic colours and no neons or overly patterned clothing! But most importantly wear your confidence no matter what outfit you have on!

You made some valid points with the lounge wear and stuff but there isn’t one particular straight forward way to be feminine. Ladies can be sporty and still feminine. You can wear statement jewelry, you just have to know the right things to pair them with. Individuality is more important than trying to fit into one particular female stereotype.

  • @justnnaomi
    @justnnaomi 3 года назад +2

i agree with you on these things, especially on some outfits we see women wear, but a girl can wear nikes and a dress or nikes and a skirt if that what they're comfortable with. any woman can have femininity, regardless if they have hoop earrings. some girls like streetwear or alot of colors, and that doesn't make them any less feminine

When you asked who gets looked at more, I instantly said “the girl with the cropped tee” simply because they give off this aura that says “I’m easy going” meanwhile the girl who looks a little more “put together” gives off the aura of “I’m not playing any games” and sometimes I feel awkward dressing up because I don’t like for people to think my nose is in the air

I don’t disagree with what she’s saying but I do believe there’s a balance between what she’s saying we as women “should” do and what she’s negating. I believe all women are made to not only be beautiful in their own way, but don’t have to be the social or etiquette “norm” to be considered desirable. I love her boldness for giving these tips though. I’m here for all of it either way.

Granted most black women look at me like I'm crazy because its not the stereotype of style a black woman would have. But u can't tell me i don't look good or smell good. I personally believe if you got a quirky style you can always refine it and make it more wearable and put together. I take pointers and advice and apply them to my personal style.
