I'm new to your channel and you are getting me pumped up to go fish some local spots and who knows maybe it will take me somewhere in life because I so love to fish!!!! Keep up the good work and keep enjoying yourself .... The good life is real and your doing it !!!
I remember hooking a big channel cat on my light trout rod, 6 pound test as well. What a fight that was lol. Glad my wife was there she had to get in the water to net him
I really love your channel and your content! You inspired me to really get out and fish in the weirdest places around my local town and I've had some really amazing experiences. Keep up the good work!
🎣 you got that right, 2022 was a great year and you have did nothing but given us the greatest fish catching videos that you could have. I thank you and I appreciate what you have done plus I enjoyed every moment of it too. Hopefully 2023 will be so much better and who knows for sure. just maybe you might wind up catching a new species of fish, never know what could be hidden in water today. Once again thank you for the greatest fishing videos. Can't wait to see what 2023 brings. Have a wonderful and Happy New Year's as well
MAN! You have had an awesome fishin year my friend. 🙂👍 Gotta say, through all the vidz you've submitted, I haven't seen ANY that I haven't enjoyed bro.😁👍 God bless to you and yours thru this Christmas season and beyond into/thru this next year man.🙏😇 Peace ✌😎
Watch on 2 devices because I can only leave comments on this one. At least the commercials play on both. I am a human being and not a "bot". I watch because I enjoy Fish Hawk's channel so play nice, RUclips! You show twice as many ads (so long as each is less than 5 minutes). No cause the consequence anyone due to this. This device is only 1080P. The other one is 4K. This is exactly why.
Those are ok did you not catch any big ones? Hahah jk man those are super nice. I bought that fish hawk rod I love it thanks for your videos and recommendations.
Your channel is super, although I don't understand what you're talking about, I would like more videos about gear and cooking fish, and not only about fishing, greetings from Russia✌
You definitely beat the previous year when it came to the bigger trout that's for sure but I kinda wished you would have done a catch and keep on some of them. I know you did a few times on the smaller ones but to be honest I don't think they taste as good and they're a pain in the butt to get all the little bones out of them. Also I was surprised that I don't remember you doing as much catch and cooks this last year. If I remember, I think you only did one or maybe two, but I'm not completely sure? I think it would be a cool idea to show off some of your tricks to get the bones out of the smaller trout and it be cool to see your recipes for other types of game fish as well. I personally I don't like catching fish I can't eat because I don't know how to cook them and they become a nuisance because of it. I hate it when they swallow the hooks and even when you cut the line there's still a high chance that they won't make it. I really don't like it when I accidentally kill something with out giving it a purpose for it's death. For an example, when I accidentally hit a deer with my car last year I stopped immediately to gather the carcass to process what I could so it's death would have meaning. Another good reason I did that is to keeps it from just rotting on the side of the road collecting scavenger critters to be at risk of being hit and killed as well. Lucky it's legal in Oregon to do that. But to be honest I probably would still have done that regardless because it really is the right thing to do and I don't believe that people would be dumb enough to just go out and mess up their cars to get one like how most states use that excuse for why they don't allow it. Even if you have a bumper gard on your truck, a deer still has the capability to cause serious damage to your vehicle as well as it would also ruin most of the meat to the point the reward wouldn't justify the cost. Anyways what I'm getting at is I wouldn't mind if you gave us a little bit of an education to help us out if we end up in that kind of situation where a release goes wrong. I know that you don't know how to cook certain types of fish but if you know anyone who does it be cool to have them as a guest on your show. You mostly use spinners so I know it's rare for you to have that problem but I know it has probably happened a few times on you. As much as I see how much you love the fish that you catch on your shows. I know it would hurt you to know if you had accidentally injured and killed one of the fish that you caught, just to let it go to waste as much as it would hurt me to do so. I think it be good for all of us as well as fun to learn something valuable to maintain are respects of the environments we all share with the rest of nature. Sorry for giving such a large comment and I'm just giving a suggestion I know I would like to see and learn from so you really are not obligated to do it or anything. You've already taken some of my thoughts to consideration that I might just be being a little to selfish at this point? Lol! I haven't even asked you if any of my suggestions even helped you to please your audiences to have even made a difference or not? Either way man I just feel comfortable to speak my mind with you because you respect your fans crazy ideas even if they're just silly individual fan desires. Hope you had an awesome New Year's day and no matter how it goes. I'm excited to see what you will have in stored for us this new year's adventure and what new places you will go, along with maybe even some new species you haven't caught yet.
@@FishHawk I found the J&H shipping box today (lost it while moving) and finally opened it (nearly a year after receiving it). Hopefully me & my 1 piece St Croix Avid 7' ULF, Shimano Stradic CI4+ 2500 and the new lures (yours) will be able to hit the water some time in the next few days! I bought neoprene waders for a reason so the cool temps shouldn't make any difference.
I love the ones when you go fishing with your Dad.
What a great year you had. North, south, east and west. I hope this year brings you the same success. Happy New Year FH!

Thank you so much! Hope you catch a bunch!
