So for people who are confused, Asus partnered with a clothing design company called Acronym to design a laptop. Acronym is really experimental and often gives their pieces weird code names. The clothes are very expensive, but it's worth taking a look at the website to read through the descriptions and pictures, which really adheres to the cryptic/spy aesthetic they're aiming for. Anyway, it's a cool looking laptop! Thanks for the review, Justine! 💜
Ok this makes sense. I thought it was a company that bought the laptops, and repackaged them.
Acronym is also known for very technologically advanced and fashion forward clothing

@@skreign I can think of so many other things you could buy to advertise your bank account, including overrated sneakers soaked in branding w/ a resale market that you've caught yourself eyeing. Acronym often has no visible branding and no one you run into on the street is going to guess how expensive their clothes are. Unlike hype Js or Supreme shirts, the value of Acronym duds is in the high-tech fabric and look, not the branding. Everyone has something they obsess over and will save for and splurge on. It's their money to spend how they please.
Was anyone else confused from the start and didn’t know what they were talking about and still confused at the end.
They are selling their garbage idea expensively. How? By making stupid language and concept of their own that you don't understand so you feel undervalued, while their garbage design is overvalued.
Secondly making it appears to have limited edition, when very few people want to buy, the price appears over expensive.
Thirdly, you can buy the laptop and self design it to your own liking. Why fomo this crappy design?

This is clearly a 'designer' laptop with what a lot of people might consider pointless design, but I really like the external lights! Iconic that you made it say "Don't talk to me", lol.

Given what can be done in technology now, maybe colour should have been the user's choice with RGB lighting. The laptop is so discrete, then BAM, KEYBOARD. IF they have to use colour, then simply accent the key with a this coloured edge
All the letters and numbers on that paper, they're probably hexadecimal, if you use Google lens and copy the writing from the paper into a hexadecimal to ASCII converter you might get the message. Can u upvote this so she can see it or someone just tell her.

I love the design, finally something different and well made,not just red and rgb lines for gamers or metal golden shade for "executive" laptops. This design looks well thought and utilitarian like something from an anime like GIST or something that the old sony could have made, I love it.
Oh man, David Rudnick has been killing it in the graphic design world for a while now, didn't expect this crossover with Asus + you! Loved it

I feel like most of a designer's job is to give people something to appreciate and I think part of that is describing it in a way that's appealing. Pretentious, but that's what ppl pay for.

I love acronym, I really do. This is a cool product for sure....but it's way too pretentious imo.
This lap top looks great, love the thumbnail, the way you made the glow, also, your you prefer this laptop for gaming over a Alienware or MSI gaming laptop, wow I just can’t believe what though that the designers went through to make this laptop, it’s just amazing, great video as well, I want a USB necklace, that’s just so cool lol, cool, I also see what you mean that you know the background of the making of the laptop and when you unbox something you feel like you are unboxing some thing special (which this laptop is special) you don’t feel like you just unboxing another typical lap top, great review btw, and was that Tyler who did I that dance before you took the laptop out of the box, lol, good job Tyler, great job with helping make these videos as well, you are both very talented, hope you and everyone else has a great day.

It's a great notebook. But the charger, and the charger position....hrrrrrrrr
It can charge through USB-C too. So you don't need to carry that power brick everywhere.

Sorry but those keycaps gotta go, there's no valid reason to have extra letters on a keycap, jut the main character and any sub function, all the extra A are dumb visual clutter that will cause more issues than anything else
