I have a question, do you feel that as a man he should have done more to provide as the Bible encourages men to do? I’m single and I know God wants christian women to marry purpose partners but I find it difficult to ever compromise on finances or ambition because I know if I ever have a child I would be at home with my child.

Eczema was a serious part of the end of my marriage. It was years where I was in pain and discomfort. I couldn't work. My skin condition was horrible. I couldn't sleep or be intimate. Because it wasn't life-threatening, it wasnt taken seriously. My ex seemed more annoyed by my condition than caring. My marriage ended, but 2 months after the divorce, the eczema went away. I don't know to this day why or what that means but I'm healthy now. I wish the best for my Ex. It was horrendous. I'm happy now. I pray for all of us. AMEN.
He was causing you severe stress. It’s so important to pay close attention to yourself with anything. But, I’m so glad you are now healed.
Sometimes when there are things we need to deal with or things we ignore it will show up in our bodies.

Amen, definitely easier said than done. Especially when you haven't been through it, its easier to preach that. Try going through it.
It’s easier said than done. There are so many things that lead people here and sometimes God will allow it if the others soul is at stake….
I agree, and that's why it was crucial that me and my husband took time to see if this marriage was God's will before we even started dating. That's been a major key to us persevering because no marriage is exempt from trials and tribulation. It's by His grace that we are still standing.
But these are things we should address before.

So many things we won't fully understand until we're in the thick of it. I'm glad God gives us grace as we figure it out because He knows when someone is genuinely trying to do the right thing but just doesn't know better.
I’m not even sure why this came up in my feed, but the title made me stop. Initially I was oh no not another failed black marriage but I was pleasantly surprised and encouraged as I continued to listen. Matthews 6:33 has been quoted to me in the most random of places for the past 2 weeks now and this was yet another confirmation of God’s promise to me. Thank you for you obedience and transparency to share a part of your testimony with us. I can imagine it isn’t easy but thank you for letting me and others know we’re not alone and to see God doing great things in your life encourages me that he will do the same for me and my family if we stay the course. ❤blessings!

Thank you for sharing! At one point in my marriage I was upset and frustrated, trying to think what godly woman I could call for advice and God told me to SHUT UP! Don't talk to anyone, talk to ME and I will work this out. And He did :) 12 years married and I remember thinking exactly what you said, I know God put us together, this is not a mistake. It has been hard but God! May God continue to bless you and your family.

Girrrrlll thank you so much for being vulnerable enough to share this. I’m currently in a season where the Lord is calling me to sit with Him like Mary and do some things that are extremely unconventional. It’s so hard because so many people around me and specifically family think I’m crazy.
In one of your walk with me videos recently you talked about how when you’re on the long stretches of road on your walk w God He can give you confirmation that you’re going in the right direction… this video was it for me.
God has given me those two verses you mentioned, Matthew 6:33 and Jeremiah 33:3, in this season. He reminds me of them almost daily in different ways.

I've been there. So many people in my family and friend circles thought I was a fool for some of the things God told me to do. Honestly, if I hadn't already hit rock bottom, I might have let their disapproval be enough to stop me from pursuing God's will because it was HARD. There's nowhere to go but up when your life sucks, and that actually helped me to keep going day after day until it finally started making sense.

Why? Because of the honesty and authenticity. I'm not married but believing to be some day. Its refreshing to hear about the challenges and struggles that come in marriages and how the Lord helps and delivers.
I watched your videos about how you and your husband knew you were the one. I thought your marriage was pretty darn good.
To now learn about your struggles and to see you on the other side of them is encouraging and a testimony about God's goodness. You were open and truthful. I pray more content creators (especially Christians) follow your lead.

Wow! This means a lot to me! It's not easy to share, but I always know that if I get past my uncomfortable feelings to be obedient to God, He will use it for His glory.
We're trying to break some cycles of disappointment in our 5yrs + relationship now where "reason" is not helping. This is encouraging because rn we r trying to lean more on Gods grace in a lot of processes and let Him have His way. Thxx

I need prayer over my marriage. I’ve got one foot in one foot out. Ive been carrying my husband mentally, spiritually, and financially for 15 years, and I don’t know what to do. He’s a good husband, but he doesn’t have a vision, or any goals. Its hard. I feel like i want out.

The title shocked me since I have been watching your channel for so long and how God told you he is the one. I’m so proud of you. Jesus loves you and your family. the tribulations happens to make you stronger. It happens to refine you and it doesn’t make sense when you are in the situation but in the end it will all make sense. Refinement is very important and it makes you grow better in doing the work of Christ.

Gotta admit the title scared me! I'm so grateful to have watched this video. I'm single but all the talk about finances, purpose, and trusting God has definitely been a struggle. I was told to move to ATL in 2021 and it's been difficult and I'm still trying to understand my call, which I think you helped me to see is telling the world about Jesus. I kinda believe we all have that in common as followers of Christ. This video really helped me to renew my trust in God. Thank you for your honesty, and I'm so glad God kept your marriage producing fruit even in the darkest moments. God is faithful.
Hello, who told you to move to Atlanta? I would move away from there if you are looking to be married. Just doesn't seem like a good environment to interact with single straight men who are truly marriage minded. I once considered moving there and so happy I did not.
@@imo.124 I walk by faith not by fear. God told me to move here. I didn't move here to look for a relationship. I moved here to follow Christ. I trust that the Lord will send the right man regardless where he lives.
You're so right. God calls us all to tell the world about Jesus by using our unique path and talents. I'm glad you stepped out on faith to be where He's called you. It might not make sense to anyone else, but it doesn't have to.

Financial stability is MAJOR in life. A man takes a wife and he must be able to at least TRY to provide for his family. I left my husband for the same reason. 13 years later I make mid six figures and that same husband makes more money than I do……and we remarried in 2019 once he understood what being a provider is to a wife and family.

This has really blessed me. A sibling is going through the same problem and I pray this message heals him. Because his wife's feet is out the door. Yes that's the reality, and I know the anguish your went through but there's something about God. He really is a refuge. And obeying his commandments. If GOD didn’t tell you through his WORD, that wasn’t GOD talking to you. You got it. You figured it out.
It's clearly described in the Bible how God speaks to His children in various ways and that the Holy Spirit communicates with us.
I have very recently learned endurance; one thing after another and after that, and so on! We are living in the last days; therefore God is building us for it so that we will trust only Him! We have an adversary who will not quite and will do everything in his power to get us to quit. He wants to outlast us BUT God has made us to last. If you outlast him, you will crush Him! We are head crushers! My new attitude is come on, cause I ain't going nowhere but to the Word!

Great job! Thank you for being obedient and sharing parts of your testimony. This blessed me. The Lord has assigned me to RUclips ministry as well and boy have I struggled with it, since 2017. Now, since I have started looking inward instead of mostly at my husband, I have grown to realize that my disobedience has set me back and delayed my blessings. It wasn’t all on him. I played a part too. It’s important that as women we hold ourselves accountable just as much as we try to hold our spouses. Thank God for revelation and supernatural wisdom. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 🔥🔥❤️❤️
Yes, I think it is hard when we feel wronged to even consider things we might need to work on.
It's been a while since I've checked out your channel. Your channel was the 1st channel I came upon when I felt God calling me to be closer to Him. I remembered how you spoke about your husband being the one. How you had fasted with him, but then you stopped because that was his thing with the Lord. You just came to mind after so many years. I thank you for being honest. It must've taken a lot of courage to be so honest about hard parts of your marriage, but God is in the midst. You both are still here for a purpose! Keep doing the work He has called you to do!!

Kytia, I am back here again watching this video, needed this especially cuz I am one year in marriage and since we have been married it’s been a struggle financially. As I was packing to leave about a few minutes Holy Spirit reminded of this video , I remember I saw this video pop up in the past, but I had forgotten I watched a year ago before marriage, but look at how God works. Now, I am going to sit and talk to my husband instead of continuing to pack my stuff. One thing my husband agreed on and especially because of the fear of God is no divorce, we will work it out. We always put God in our circumstances but we bump heads due to finances. Pray for us in this area, and God bless you for being a vessel.

Very true! And there is also a misconception that finding your God ordained spouse will mean that marriage will be easy for you. Not the case, unfortunately.

I don't believe the Lord's plan is to rain riches on us; His plan is for HIS glory, not our comfort or wealth. Money is not the point of serving the Lord. Supernatural grace is the Lord's gift to us to be covered under Christ's sacrifice and perfection; not work or wealth. However, when you humble yourselves to serve your husband, and your husband sacrifices himself for you and your family, your marriage WILL thrive. Start with a joint bank account. When you're married, you don't have YOUR money, he doesn't have HIS money. Please don't be confused by prosperity gospels; the real Gospel gives us the gift of Christ.
I hope you watched the whole video because a prosperity gospel is not what I’m pushing or the point of this video.
Your journey mirrored mine except I tried to keep a relationship going with a spirit of the flesh-type relationship. It fizzled and now I'm healing trust and 3 years single and happy being a mom.

Thank you for this video because I am in the midst of a great transition in my life. I have been under attack for many years in my living situation and 2 years ago started the process of changing it. There are so many variables that have not aligned so I am still in the process. Another major shift just happened in my life in February which showed me how God did not allow my plans to succeed for the last 2 years. However, I am still not sure of my path forward and because of that major shift, I feel pressure to move sooner than later. I am praying that God will help me to trust in his timing and process and that he would help me to have peace until this season turns around.
I will definitely pray for you that your next steps will be clear...even if it's just to be patient and wait.

A lot of what you said went in hand with the message I herd today at service. The Lord is definitely revealing some things which I've been praying for clarity and discernment. Still in a very tough spot with my husband. Understanding God's Sovereignty has been such a game changer for me. It's not enough to just "try" because sometimes you will give something your all and still amount to nothing. God has a purpose for our lives and His will is perfect and pleasing. Mathew 6:33 has been a huge part of my walk with God in this season. I won't always get my way, I won't always have what I want, God won't always answer my prayers or give me a yes. But none of that changes God's character. Life is a journey of sanctification and we're being sanctified through every circumstance and experience. The key is in letting go of control and intentionally trusting what God is doing in and through us. Holy Spirit is highlighting a lot of hard truths pertaining to marriage in this season also. I'm single but I believe I'm in my marriage season. God is presenting a lot of sobering content as far as marriage. When I saw the title of this video it shook me but I'm glad I've taken the time to watch it and read through the comments. What a blessing. May God continue to bless you and your family sis❤️

This is why financial counseling has to be a part of marriage counseling. Several times she said how did GOD let this happen, and why didn't He change it. God requires stewardship, and if we haven't mastered that being single it's going to be messy married.
Yes, that was definitely my thinking during THAT TIME (wondering how God let that happen), but I learned that some hard times are just a result of our ignorance. I really agree that financial counseling would be so helpful for a lot of people before marriage because financial issues are a common reason why people get divorced.

Yes, there is so much refining, learning, and growing that happens in marriage. It really helps when both husband and wife are willing to work it out and learn from different seasons and trials so that it ultimately brings them closer together and doesn't tear them apart.

I don’t know if this is God answering to my prayers. That’s the first video I’ve see on your channel. I’ve been financially supporting my husband for 10 months now and I’m exhausted. I decided to move out of our place because he’s getting too comfortable of not providing. To be honest I don’t really know. We have been arguing so much. He had not spoken to me in 4 days. I’ve found a place to stay to save because I been supporting him and my self. I pray to God and now this video. Thank you so much. I am not living because of him not having money but because we are disrespecting each other in arguments and I think if we want a better relationship in the future this change will be necessary. My husband feels like because we are already married and living together, he should not try like he use to do before.

Im in the same predicament and I am exhausted 23 years and just keep struggling with financial issues and stagnation, with no communication, always ends with an argument and no resolution, and is always about me, I stopped trying, I'm saved yes, but I am emotionally drained, alone and tired

I am having to back off and be no contact with my husband while God is working on both of us. We have two sons together and are having some financial hardships. God had shown me a full restoration, but the being patient part can be trying at times. I know God is faithful and he will do what He said he will do. To God be the Glory. This video has really encouraged me as we are going through this storm.

I felt the same way. Please read this book called Love and Respect. The first chapter alone pretty much changed my life. Also a book called Men are from Mars which I had never read because it was before my time but has also helped me see certain things.

I still struggle with leaving my husband after waking up in ICU with a PIC line to my heart and a laceration in my pancreas. We also lived on private property with his family who witnessed the abuse for 15 years and would have let me die to protect him.
After hearing just a few minutes about a bunk trip to Target and no money leading to making you want to leave your husband, I no longer feel so hard on myself for leaving my demon possessed alcoholic husband. If people struggle so easily, that means I really did endure as long as I could. It's awesome that God was on your side. If you're still married, that's probably why. God bless everyone who is scared or struggling. He's the only one who never leaves or forsakes us
