I have a 91 300se my alarm went off when I simply unlocked my door and stayed on even when I started my car. It’s never done that before. I’m not sure why it started doing that. There was a huge storm last night. That’s the only thing different that has gone on. I simply followed your directions and unplugged the wires and it’s fixed. Thank you very much. The alarm really doesn’t do much anyways you are right. As long as the locks work you should be good.
Are you familiar with fuse number two on fuse number five? They told me to remove them because the blower on the inside keeps running and the other fuse drains the battery for inside light I can’t stop the blower I removed the fuses is still running, they said it’s related to the alarm Killswitch And suggestion, thank you

300SDL 1986 alarm goes off randomly if the car sits for 12+ hours. I wonder if the module has an internal battery.
What you did was disconnect the alarm, you haven't fixed anything, why did you put the link (FIXED)?
