I see comments that this song does not slap as hard as fly me to the moon and moon river, which I agree but I feel this one hits diferent, like the overture of a final act, a bittersweet farewell or a melancholic ending, which for me goes with the theme of the game and it's perfect when put togheter with the past themes.
I find that it fits well - a little TOO well - in Bayo 2's intro and vice versa. I believe that if those games have each other's battle themes they would be better overall...
@@theotherohlourdespadua1131Impossible to make them better, Bayonetta 2 is absolute perfection and Bayonetta 3 comes right after (Bayonetta 1 is only a little below because of all the bs in it, like insta-death QTEs, some VERY unfair enemies, and the camera being a bit janky. Still great, but less so imo. I still consider all three of them to be some of the best games ever made though).
"I stand at your gate" this song clearly should have been the theme of 2 since you literally go to the gates of heaven and hell, and moon river should have been the theme of 3. "Dream maker, you heartbreaker" that line is perfect for when Cereza referred to Singularity as the real heartbreaker.

I think it's only perfect with that line BECAUSE we already had that song in Bayonetta 2, it works as a little reference. It wouldn't work as well if the OSTs were swapped imo.
this one definitely doesn't go as hard as the others but it has more light girly romantic beauty, which fits the sorta sailor moon vibes of this cereza
I feel that all the moon songs in each Bayonetta game match perfectly and give off the same vibe as the respective Bayo. Fly me to the moon is extravagant and gives an immense animation to live, as if the fight that is taking place is nothing more than a joke. Moon river is stylish in particular and different from the rest, doing anything to the sound of it makes this thing amazing and fun to do. Moonlight Serenade is the most "magical" of all three, it also makes fights seem like nothing more than a method of entertainment and the new mechanics of Bayo 3 reinforce this characteristic, as if it were just as "powerful" as the other two. And I think the SAME about the 3 Bayonettas of the trilogy
i just realized from their themes Fly me to the moon; the name was mentioned once. Moon river was mentioned twice. Moonlight serenade was thrice. if they rlly plan to do bayo 4 and continue this sort of pattern it might be hard in my opinion.
agreed. Definitely beats moon river, but I like the fly me to the moon tie in with Neon Genesis Evangelion. I have a theory that Moon River started the trend of Bayonetta games needing a "Moon" song.

Sailor moon meets Evangelion vibes.
I'm here for it
Yes it does sound a lot of the compositions of shiro sagisu.
Very, *very* intentional btw.

It just doesn't fit as a battle theme whispdrs of destiny would've been better as a battle theme
@@Chivo317 well it is lmao
@@tovi3280 yea ik nobody ever said it wasn't lmao
@@Chivo317 mhm uh huh yup sure
@@tovi3280 yeah... Literally nobody said mysterious destiny was the battle theme but ok💀

Blue Moon confirmed for Bayonetta 7
@@RoyalCrest-LetsPlaysAndMore kinda ironic lol, tho that could be a gud idea as well
Fly me to the moon was a masterpiece, Moon River it was great but this one is so different but I still love this new theme
this beats the other bayo songs imo (fly me to the moon and moon river), but i can see how other people might dislike it. it’s up to taste, really

Fly me to the Moon, then Moon River, and now... Moonlight Serenade; haha
Are they... combining? 😳
Why. Why is this on loop since i finished this game ?
I'm sorry to be the one to say this but Moonlight Serenade does NOT slap the way Fly Me To The Moon and Moon River did
I think i can raise i little disageement here
I respect your opinion, and disagree.
The vocals are like... Really rough. "I stAaaAnNNnnDdd... At your gaAaAAaaAte"
To you
@@JesseColton and you cans sing it better, oc.
Bass is oversaturated and eats the mid tones.
Will take a note, thank you
The song is cool but whoever mixed it did a terrible job
